So i've been playing Tomodachi life and it's fun! However, I need games recommendations for others. I would buy Animal crossing new leaf but..I have nh now..I was gonna buy Nintendogs + cats but I have dogs irl..I just idk..

I'd say go for New Leaf and also Happy Home Designer if you like AC games and can handle juggling two towns + decorating homes.

Some other stuff I can think off right now;

Mario Kart 7, Kirby: Planet Robobot(might be laggy if you have an older system though), Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon(same here it WILL lag on older systems due to heavy graphics and stuff), Fire Emblem: Awakening(I'd recommend the Fates games for the sake of SRPG's even if it's a lot of fanservice and thin plot), Kid Icarus: Uprising, Monster Hunter games if you're into those, Persona Q/Q2, Pokémon OR/AS.. tbh the better gen of the 3ds gen/games, basically any Shin Megami Tensei games, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns.

Also if you plan on getting Virtual Console games; Wario Land 3, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2, any SMB games, Tetris, older Pokémon games etc.

The user who first posted on your thread recommended a lot of games and also mentioned Monster Hunter games. If your going to do Monster Hunter, l would get Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, it's a very popular game. I would not recommend Monster Hunter Generations because without Ultimate G rank quests, the game can get boring, so if you want to try Generations, then l would say try MH Generations Ultimate on switch because it has the finish version. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is also good but problem is there is no online just only local.

I think Generations on 3DS was alright I suppose, better than 3U if you never played a game. 4U was also alright but ya lol

Aside from New Leaf, some of my favorite most played titles were Pokemon Y, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and Story of Seasons. I heard Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns was good! I was very interested in trying it myself.

Yeah l recommend MHGU because l don't see many people online on MH Generations compared to Ultimate version and there isn't G rank in old version. But for me MH3U was better because the big battles in that game and G rank. I played all the MH games on 3ds and l still like MH4U the best, that game makes you work hard to get good armor skills and weapons, and more!
Have you ever played Freedom Unite? That game is pretty good and fun, l like playing it on PC.

Yeah, I dunno I never got into 3U for 3DS probably because it's not really beginner friendly. I kinda wanna get GU for Switch though.

And no I never got that on Steam, had a bit too weak laptop when it released and I removed my Steam since for personal reasons.

Oh it's not on steam, let's just say l can't explain it on here of how l got it because rules r rules. But it's very easy to get the game on PC. Also if you ever wanted too, l own GU and if u ever get the game l can play with you.

new leaf has a different vibe than new horizons. it might be hard to go back because of the graphics but it's a great game.

i would also recommend:
- super mario 3d land (SO GOOD!!!! one of my favorite mario games to date)
- nintendogs (it's cute but def buy used to get cheaper)
- mario kart 7 (personally i rlly like this version)

I'm not sure if this has been recommend already, but if you like Tomodachi life, I bet you'll like Miitopia. Kinda the same thing, but with it's a fantasy, turn-based RPG.

Mii rpg..that sounds amazing!!

One laid back game I recommend is Fantasy Life. You can choose from 16 jobs as you progress the main story. The writing is surprisingly witty as well!
I've played that before actually very fun!

Here are my personal favorites (that aren't new leaf or tomodachi life lol)
-Pokemon X/Y
-Mario Kart 7
-Miitopia
-Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon
-Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon
I've play Pokemon Y! So many shines! Mario kart is eh. Might look into Miitopia and I might get Pokemon ultra sun!
