4th of July

I forgot to post yesterday because I was so excited, so I'll post yesterday's blog post now.

I had three special visitors in my town today, Katrina, Katie, and... TORTIMER! Finally. I dealt with Katie first and went to Katrina's tent. I paid the 500 bells and she told me I had to buy Ornate Bottoms...

I got a Coin from a fortune cookie and my house was expanded for the second time. My family went to the beach for the rest of the day, so I didn't do much.

Here's how my 4th of July went. We went to the beach and had lunch there. My little sister tripped and scraped her knee on a seashell. At about 10pm, the fireworks started. I took some on video, but I didn't put it on the computer yet. It lasted 15 minutes, and the grand finale came. I only took 2 seconds of it on my camera, because it was dark and I couldn't see the buttons. We stayed a while longer, and walked home in the dark. It was 11pm when we got home, and we immediately fell asleep. It was really fun!

Woohoo! for getting Tortimer to visit! You should have fun once you get to the island. Not only are there lots of bugs and fish to make some money, the tours are fun, too. And there are a couple of furniture themes you can only get from the island.

Sounds like you had fun at the beach and fireworks. Sorry your little sister hurt herself. Hope you have a fun rest of the weekend!

Congratulations on Tortimer visiting, you're gonna love the island I spend most of my time there!
I went to see Katrina but her tent was closed so now I know I have to catch her before 7pm.
