Hey guys! I decided to do an island journal (well more of a photo dump if anything). I've logged over 395+ hours of New Horizons mostly terraforming and beautifying my island and I'm still nowhere near done. I wanted to showcase my island somewhere. Hope you enjoy it! It's almost like a virtual tour of my island!

I honestly forgot to take a snap of my starting map and this is as close as I could get.
I removed all cliffs, water, trees and plants and rebuilt my entire island from the ground up.

This is my airport entrance, I struggled with this one quite a bit because I wasn't sure on what to do and it was one of the last things I built, lol. Only thing I knew was that I wanted waterfalls because I really like them, if only they were a little quieter

infront of my shops is a small beach area, had no idea what to do with it but had to come up with something lol

I'm missing another statue for the opposite side, also planning to add some hyacinth lamps and floorlights to bring it to life at night

I'm from the Philippines and I can't go back home to visit my Aunt's grave (she lost her battle with cancer 8 years ago) who raised me so I made a little one for her close to my hot springs since it was our favourite thing to do (we always made time to go to hot springs and was planning on going if she got better)

I wanted a little fairy-esque campsite area and I also just really like things that glow at night (my island has star fragments and hyacinth lamps scattered all over lol)

it's not perfect because it's very hard to see fruits on the ground when harvesting but it looks nice imo
might update it cause of that though and also wanted a little farm area so watch me just get rid of this entire section soon enough

you can't see very well from the photos but shrubs and some trees have yet to grow, there's also a bear on top (he owns this place now)

My daily routine isn't far too different from others (I believe) but here it is anyways
‿︵ I alway start my day by talking to my villagers and finding the one that's crafting
‿︵ Visit shops and buy presents for villagers if there's any that I could find, I don't give them presents everyday, only on days I find things that speak to me about that lol
‿︵ Tour my island, cleaning up along the way and finding whatever's left to work on (may that be a garden that needs tending, improving an area, etc.)
‿︵ If I find a project to do, I push myself to finish it on the same day or else I'll forget what my thought process was the next day
‿︵ I try my best to remember to check up on my villagers to see who's crafting, they rotate about every three hours
‿︵ After I finish my daily tasks, I go on discord or on this forum to interact with other players or trade/sell items

Been very busy these past few weeks but I finally had some time to update!

After it raining on island for literally weeks, I got tired of keeping up with my hybrid flower breeding area (I dont need more flowers I'm drowning in them) I moved my cafe and made it a little bigger! I think this area fits it better than the old one

Replaced the old cafe area with this, I've always wanted a small crescent moon pond/lake
