A BIRD!!!

I just got a bird yesterday! He is a hand-fed, hand-trained Cockatiel named Potso. Potso means Crazy in Italian.

Do any of you have birds? Or tips on training or keeping birds? I'd like to hear any opinions you people have!

i had a bird... it wouldn't shut up, and wasn't a people person... and that beak was pretty sharp...

i like birds... but i dont think owning one is all that awsome... their poop looks really gross... >_>

No, don't own any, but I see plenty of them around where we live. Especially since we have 2 birdfeeders in the backyard.

One day, I remember looking out the window, and there were 2 birds fighting with each other, or something. Never really understood that...

BUT BESIDES THAT!!!,

Birds are awesome as pets! I've only had mine for almost 2 days, and I let it sit on my shoulder, and walk around my room and stuff! His cage is always open, so he can come out any time he wants (Although when I leave the room I close the cage). And his wings are clipped so he cant fly very far.

I know what you mean, and I do watch him. Whenever he "does" I put him back in his cage. (He hates his cage). So hopefully that will teach him to like, go in the cage first er something...

I dont have a cat, so I'm pretty good when it comes to other pets harming him.

Lol, thanks! I'll have some fun times with my new found friend. :lol: I'm trying to teach him to bob his head when he hears music.
