Hello, everyone. (<- those gyroids are cute af)
My name is Zack, my username is Dreamy Luigi (named after the character in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team) and my nickname is Zeck given to me by a few skype friends
I've played Nintendo since I was a little kid, but it wasn't that much, nothing more than Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Super Mario Bros. 3 on my GameBoy Advance. In 2009, however, I got a Wii. In 2010 I started playing modern Mario Kart (Mario Kart Wii), and since then have been a huge Mario Kart fan... until recent. Late that year I got Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a great game at the time, but I haven't actually been good at Smash until I started playing the Super Smash Bros. 3DS Demo (I got the special demo version from TBT's marketplace o; ), and now I play Super Smash Bros. Wii U (and formerly 3DS) and love collecting amiibo.
I got Hyrule Warriors a few weeks after release (at the time I decided to get Smash 3DS first) and fell in love with the game, still playing it today on the Master Quest and Twilight Princess DLCs.
And I've played Animal Crossing since Christmas Eve in 2013, where I started Racetown. However after multiple villagers ruined my paths, and my friend was also resetting, I decided that I wanted a new town. However, I was leaving behind my all time favorite villager, Rosie.
But then, on the 2nd map I chose when starting a new town... I saw that cat. Rosie was standing before me. Yes, I got her as a starter in my first town, and my second town. The layout was pretty good already, so I didn't hesitate staying with that one.
I've been active on the internet since June of 2013, where I joined a Mario Kart forum. However things didn't go... smoothly and I was punished a few times (many times x: ) and then banned, which prompted me to change into a better person and by January of 2014, I finally did. I've been active on that website countlessly ever since, and in May of 2014 I became moderator and served hard for the rest of the year, not trying to be vain but I honestly think I was the one of the best moderators on the team. I also got to know the staff better and they are really nice people and sometimes don't get credit they deserve.
However, I only started working really hard when I realized the community was dying to a competitor site, I worked my ass off on the site's twitter account, hosted tournaments, and did everything I could possibly do to help the site. I left the position on the 1st of December in 2014 as I felt I was having an emotional attachment to the site and as it was dying, I was getting frustrated. I wanted happiness, I wanted to enjoy myself, so that's why I left and it's my goal for 2015: have fun, as me being overly rude in 2013 and over working myself in 2014 didn't allow full enjoyment of my life.
I joined The Bell Tree in 2014 after looking for an Animal Crossing forum. Seeing a couple hundred members online + powered by vBulletin was good for me, so I signed up. Though of course I still had ties with the Mario Kart forum so I never got overly active. However, I think The Bell Tree is going to become my "home" in terms of communities now, this is a very nice community with a well run site.
The current 3 games I play actively would be Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Hyrule Warriors.
Unfortunately, my home internet connection is very, very, very, very, VERY horrible so gaming online is not really an option, which is why I've "left" Mario Kart 8 because the series has been horrible with single player options, unlike Smash, AC, and Hyrule Warriors/Zelda games. I've tried having people visit my town but it's failed every time, so I won't be able to trade/buy/sell in New Leaf ):
Well, I guess that's my "life story", lol
I'll talk about my town in a blog tomorrow, but I have some flowers to deal with for tonight.
But just for a cliffhanger:
