For many of us who grew up in the early 2000s, BIONICLE has shaped our childhood. From it's compelling narrative to creative set design - it has left a lasting impact on it fans. Despite the LEGO theme ending in 2010, the original story left unfinished in 2011, and the series getting a lackluster reboot that only lasted from 2015 to 2016 - fans still exist!

A few weeks ago, LEGO launched a poll to vote for their 90th anniversary set. From a pool of 30 themes, BIONICLE reigned supreme ranking as the most voted theme. The final round is now upon us, and the BIONICLE community needs as much people as we can get to help send LEGO the message that we want BIONICLE back!

Any votes for BIONICLE is greatly appreciated! The fans have been denied a 20th anniversary set by LEGO (this year), and this seems to be our last hope for a resurrection of the them.

What is your memory of BIONICLE? Was it a part of your childhood?

bioncle was pretty hype back in the day, im too old for legos now though lol

Ah, Bionicles. Love the elemental lore - a potential reboot is exciting to see.

Bionicles were my favorites to build and my friends and I used to battle with them all the time. I may still have a few kicking around including a few of the MacDonalds ones. We visited on a couple of occasions solely to buy the toys, but I wasn't an avid collector.

My favorite was Tahu because I was obsessed with the color red and flames. Plus, the sword just looks cool - much like other Bionicle weapons.

They were really fun to build! :) I remember getting a few as a kid and me and my siblings would spend time tinkering with the cogs and plastic parts. I honestly think they were more fun to build than legos because of all those little parts.
