I'm curious. When Pokemon X and Y comes out in just a few short weeks, will people try to switch over completely, will they play both or do you just not like Pokemon!
Let's vote on the poll to find out!
I'll probably play pokemon mostly and probably just play ACNL a little on weekends. but I usually only play acnl for about one hour before school anyway.
I'm probably not going to be able to get it as soon as it comes out, but whenever I do get it, I will definitely play it more than ACNL. I won't neglect ACNL though, especially now that I have all of my dream villagers. I don't want to ignore it for weeks and then discover that one of my villagers moved during that time.
Eh... I don't know if I want to get it yet. At all. I got bored of Pokemon before Pokemon Black/White came out. Heck, I didn't even play HeartGold/SoulSilver. Diamond/Pearl/Platinum was the last ones I played. I've been playing since the original Gameboy games.
I'm kinda leaning towards not getting them, even though they look awesome. I have an incredibly huge game backlog. The 1st world problem of being a gamer that's an adult is 1) you have more money to afford games but 2) less time to play them than you did when you were a kid.
I'm probably safe until early next year. That's when Lightning Returns and the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD remakes come out. If Grand Theft Auto 5 drops in price, I'll probably pick it up around then.
I'm still going to play New Leaf, honestly, but only enough to get like the daily responsibilities taken care of. I expect my time spent on New Leaf to decrease greatly when I get Pokemon X. I still plan on playing New Leaf like all day on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. So on the important days I'll play for a while. c:
I had Pok?mon X on pre-order then cancelled it. A film I'm producing/directing goes into production on the release date and I just won't have the time/energy to play it. When production ends I've another job lined up, then a holiday, then coming back to new classes in December. So I'm busy all the way up 'til Christmas break. My folks said they'd buy me the game as my Christmas present though, so I don't even have to pay for it now.
I'll do my daily check up on my New Leaf town then I'll play Pokemon until I have to do something else. When a new Pokemon game comes out I just play that game until I beat the Elite Four and do all the extra stuff. I get addicted *.*
Pokemon X/Y WILL DEFINETLY be on my Definetly Buying list. That and Project X Zone. Maybe Pikmin 3 if I get enough to buy it. But I'm definitely getting Pokemon X/Y. <3
New Leaf will still be played once a day, but not as much as normal.
Unfortunately I have already lost interest with New Leaf, the X&Y hype was already too much by August... I'll most likely end up resetting NL by the time I get back into it... I've always been a bigger Pok?mon fan than an Animal Crossing fan.
Believe it or not, I'm not hyped up for X&Y like most people are haha. I haven't really enjoyed the Pok?mon games as much as I used to, and kind of lost interest. I didn't even play B&W 2 all the way through. However I'm anticipating A Link Between Worlds coming late November and will probably play less New Leaf after that, but I'll still make a little time to catch up with villagers and whatnot.
I'll definitely be sticking to both games. I can't just abandon my villagers like that. In all seriousness though, I probably won't be getting the game straight away. I asked it for my birthday, which is over two months away. So I have some time with Animal Crossing yet.
