In fairness, the Addams Family is something that has been getting rebooted and given live action movies/TV shows for lord knows how long. They were created in like the 1930's/40's.

I mean, it looks good. And I like that there’s more material being made from the original art style, but for me nothing can replace the charm of the original show with Carolyn Jones.
