A story concerning mayor Ellie, a strange man named Sam, and later Diana.

-Ellie's POV-
I was just strolling on my town when suddenly Marina, the newest resident of Mikado, walked to me. At her first days, she has already become best friends with Pekoe, but I felt slightly bad for her since she always watch Flora and Pekoe arguing. She asked me something:

"Can you get me an ocean fish? Any type will do!"

I happened to have a lot of time and being a good mayor I agreed. I went to the ocean to get her a fish, then I saw a figure lying. Huh.
No one has mentioned about Gulliver though; usually when Gulliver is there, some people will mention it. I approached him.

Well, that wasn't Gulliver...but it's a human. I don't know what I expected.

"zzzzz.....I am soooo done...." he mumbled. I decided to wake him up and shoved him. He didn't budge.
I didn't have a megaphone at the moment so I bugged him out to wake him up, but unlike Gulliver; he keeps on lying and mumbling. So I rushed to Super T&T and bought a megaphone and shouted at him in top of my lungs, "HEY!"

"WHOA!" he was surprised and woke up immediately. He was about the same height as me; his hair is messy, he has weird round eyes, he wore a sailor suit and he was holding a fishing rod. I think if Gulliver was humanized; he would look totally like him, minus the fishing rod for sure.

"Oh...I thought I'd be dead for sure!" he said, and then leaned to me. "I think you saved me. Thanks!"
Could he be Gulliver from alternate universe? I read a book before that there's a parallel world where humans are governed by an animal mayor, and even the special characters are human. Sounds like a total hogwash, I know, but who knows. I decided to give it a shot.

"Uhhh...are you Gulliver?" I asked him. "What? Gulliver? No, I'm not that silly seagull who keeps get washed all time...mine's was a pure accident! My name's Sam," the guy who's supposedly named Sam answered. Well then, that book is a hogwash like I expected.
"Then how did you get here?" I asked again. "Hmmm....I don't really remember about it. But when I woke up, I was in the shores, and you stood in front of me, and you're holding a megaphone." he answered.
"That's because you keep sleeping, silly. I tried to wake you up normally but no avail so I have to buy a megaphone and shouted at you to wake you up," I said. "Anyway, where do you live?"
"Hmmmm....." he thought for some time until he replied, "...Well, I'm afraid I forgot."

He seems to know quite a lot, but he forgot where he lives? Weird. But he looks quite honest about it though.
"Then why not stay here for some moment until you remembered your hometown?" I said.
"Well, that's very kind of you!" he accepted without any hesitation, "But I haven't known your name yet. What's your name?"
"My name's Ellie, and I'm the mayor of this town," I said. He seems to be not so surprised. "Mayor, huh? I was a mayor too...until that incident. But anyway, thanks for the offer! Now to go to the Nook man..." He turned and started to walk away, while holding his fishing rod.

His fishing rod is pretty unique, it was neither the vanilla, the silver one I'm currently holding, nor the sacred golden rod. The rod is blue with white handle and black 'n' white bobber.
"Where did you get that?" I asked him about the rod. "Oh, this? It's a gift from my dad before I left to become a mayor," he answered, then walked away. I decided to stick with him so he won't do any suspicious actions.

I managed to follow him for some moments until he turned at me and stopped.
"Why are you following me?" he asked. "Just to make sure you won't act suspicious," I answered. He then said, "Well, I know I'm a stranger on your town but trust me, I won't do something shady."
"Riiiight," I said. "But don't forget; I'm the mayor here. Although I do allow you to live in this town, but remember; don't do anything against the town's rules. OK?"
"Okay," he said. "Now I'll ask the Nook man a place to live. Bye for now!" He left to the Main Street.

Now that he's gone, I leaned to the sea, threw my bobber and began my fishing.
