I had apple before and i gave android a try. I personally prefer apple although android does have more things to do but it easily gets viruses and all which is a huge down fall unlike apple. I'll be getting the iPhone 7 plus in November because im tired of my android phone.

Android only easily gets viruses if you reaaaaally suck at using it.

Visiting a wrong website could result in a virus already so that makes no sense, but that doesn't happen often luckily :D

I've had my android phone for almost a year now and have had no viruses. Tbh I know lots of people who all have androids and haven't gotten a virus. Viruses happen on any device.

Android all the way! You can look at any android phone released whenever apple's newest phone is released and the android always out specs it.

I would recommend apple to those who aren't tech-savy. My grandma's 75+ and apple's UI makes it very user friendly for those who don't care about memory, processor, etc.

I prefer Android. Got an iPad to use for schooling and other matters, I was pretty okish with it until iOS 10. Not a fan of the lack of customization that I can get with Android, and honestly I would've rather purchased an Android/MS Surface tablet but I won't complain about a gift.

While Apple is more secure, straightforward and lasts long, it's way too restrictive. Even having something as simple as a custom ringtone makes you do things you've never done before, takes you hours. On the other hand Android, which might not last as long(though it depends more on the manufacturer) gives you a lot of freedom. That alone makes it worth getting Androids.

I've never tried an Android. But I have no problem with Apple at all, I really like Apple

Apple makes some bad business decisions now and then but iOS is a much better OS for phones than Android.

edit: will correct that to it is a better OS for me. tbh I don't do any of the extra things you can do on an android phone that you can't do on an iphone so I do not care that it is more restrictve or whatever other complaints people have. not being able to expand your memory on an iphone is annoying but I hated my life when i had to move everything onto my sd card on my android phone I would have rather just had like 32gb preinstalled (some android phones have this much but the galaxy s5 I got at the time had like 8gb free space). I rarely fill up this much space on a device so the odds of me being annoyed by unexpandable memory at 32gb is less than being annoyed by having to move things on an SD card when I fill up the very low device storage on (some) android phones.

I have an android have in the past but this new Google android is too techy for me, love my iPad and iPod am definitely switching over next chance I get to iPhone.

I'd say Apple as for their iOS, however those pesky itunes shenanigans they pull are a bit annoying.. so you can drag and drop to your computer etc. but not FROM it. Also the fact that they ditch older models for their updates, yeah I guess they are not as strong but tbh what **** do you even add.

But yeah, had an Android phone and I don't like their hiding menus and stuff.

Apple. There's just something clean and minimalistic about their things that appeals to me. I find them super easy and clear to use, and everything just matches. I'm honestly not sure why though!
