I think males get slightly more into the online side and that is why there is more males here but yeah the adverts could show a wider audience,
The ads are stupid <_<
They just used those ads to attract everybody. The AC veterans know what to expect from this game, and have already decided if they want to get it. So Nintendo realized this, and made their ads appeal to the not so hardcore gamers, so they would have a fanbase consisiting of both hardcore and normal gamers
do you think there are hardcore gamers / potential AC players that might think the game is tooo... dare i say... cartoony?

they shouldn't bother with casual if they make a new console. they should have like a hardcore only console.

Probably. I have friends who own a Wii and choose not to get City Folk because they believe it is too childish <_<

it's too bad, really... i don't think there's any game like it.

i am not counting sims because i disagree - they are not similar enough for me to consider in the same category!!

about the cartoon look, it has put off a lot of my friends from school no matter what I say about it. they think they're too cool for it and that they're too old but I mean come on we have older people on here! I'm considered young to a lot of you!

Good luck, You do know this is the nintendo that doesn't make Animal crossing... You should mail it to whoever the staff team of AC:CF are. But, Like they're going to listen. 1 out of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Chance they'll reply to it.

Nintendo is so lazy...and that's thee only problem. They're too lazy to make the fans happeh. D:
Don't ever say Nintendo is lazy :p
They work very very hard just to make this game. Even if it is a remake, this game requires much more effort. I also think they wanted to release this game for the Holiday Season, so they cut out some stuff they didn't have time to put in there.
With the DLC, a lot of problems will be solved. Be patient.
Nintendo was lazy to make this game. How hard can it be to copy a DS game to a disk.............lol
No joke....

I actually like the idea of animal crossing pay and pay DLC...
probably not for music but maybe for rare furni sets?
If nintendo made a pay-and-play fee, i would never touch or look at a nintendo product ever again...

That means no more animal crossing, and no more free stuff for any one of you from me on TBT... EVER....

definitely agree that NES games should come back. they're putting so much emphasis on the wiiware, that we only get 1 old game a week, if that.

how about if you own the game already through VC, you get the NES game in AC?
that would still require to download the content, number one.. and number two, what would the point be if you can select it via channel anyway instead of just playing it though one game to another? -_-

that way visitors to your town could come over and play.

that was what i was envisioning, anyway... i do see where you're coming from.

I agree. The music is pretty much exactly the same as in WW, the neighbors are just the ones in wild world and gamecube plus what like 3 new neighbors. And the neighbors have barely anything to say. You talk to them two times then they repeat the same thing over and over.
There needs to be more pikmin hat colors, yeah.

I think Nintendo did add some good new stuff such as the city and the annoying Kapp'n on the bus, but there good be improvements.
Because they released the game when they did, it has became a Christmas present indeed.

However, isn't that Christmas present a little too similar to the one three years ago????

nice suggestions. but you forgot bigger houses. and more rewards for donating to the town. and most importantly...more stuff in the city.

Bigger houses? WW has bigger houses, with five rooms instead of only 3.
And basically, the stuff in the city is what there was in the previous animal crossing games. The hairdresser, the fortune teller, HRA, Redds... except for auction house, graciegrace, and shoeshine guy, which are all great places.

I'm saying: Nintendo COULD'VE added a lot of stuff that would have made it a much better game. Especially the music in it.
