I think the release date is going to be somewhere around date since they tend to release AC games in the fall.

And it is still just conjecture, because as far as I can tell, Nintendo still has not release a date. This makes it as unreliable as any other conjectured date.

No offense or anything but saying it might be released on September 28th because some website says so is just as valid as saying it will be released on any other day that Game Stop or any other company may post up. I believe it's just a place holder date because on the Nintendo website, they don't even have a date for AC3DS up. It would be nice if this was the real date but I can't get my hopes up for this date if Nintendo doesn't even know.

This only applies for the US. But yeah, Nintendo titles are released on Sundays here, and if a US date is what is being announced first, it won't be Sept 28th, but the 28th could be a EU release date. Pretty sure they get Nintendo games on Fridays.

Yeah, it's all just either placeholders or speculation. But it's the best estimate I've seen so far outside of TBT.

Not in the United Kingdom they don't, they release on Fridays over here.

Just to make my point more valid, I have managed to get quite a big collection of video games over the years (check one of the video game collection threads)
I have chosen Friday as my day off from college so I am able to get my preorders on the release dates.

Well I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo talks about this game during E3. Maybe, just maybe it would probably be release during the fall season, which would be Q3 2012. One can hope right?

IGN can get dates wrong as well. The game has also already been confirmed as a 2012 release, so it will for a fact be this year.
