It's that time again. No, not to get a new fence, not to duel, or even to spin the Wheel of Morality. Time for another trip to the town of Animalia!
I decided to change my outfit today, and elected to mix up my wardrobe a bit by wearing different ensembles than I have been. Today, I decided to try my 1-up cap with my red letter jacket, and I think it looks pretty nice. Upon exiting my house again, I saw Saharah by Walker's house, and since I was feeling adventurous, I paid her 3,000 bells to give me some new wallpaper and flooring. Unfortunately, she gave me a plaster wall and an imperial tile, neither which are exclusive and neither which look very nice in my living room...

After changing back to my previous wall and floor, I set off around town to water flowers and dig up fossils. I decided to shake things up by going in a counterclockwise fashion today, starting with my wisteria trellis area and working around back to my house. On the way, I saw that Apollo was home, so I stopped in on him. Just like yesterday, he wanted some new furniture for his house, and again, I made a note to check the shops for him. Eugene was enjoying the morning sun, and I spoke to him. He told me there's a rumor going around that he and Al are cousins. I'm not sure how that's even possible... A note on the bulletin board told me that Zipper T. Bunny arrives tomorrow! I need to remember to get my long-forgotten wet suit out of one of my museum rooms to use it tomorrow. After lots of flower-watering and digging around the plaza and Mira's house, I ran into Lolly by my west bridge. She wanted to trade my imperial tile for her modern wood lamp, and I agreed for the heck of it. Come to think of it, the lamp would look good in her house, seeing as how it's a modern wood item...I may mail it to her and see what she does with it. Some more flower watering later, I saw Rosie was home, and dropped in on her. She talked about my most recent dream visitor, who was none other than my fellow TBT blogger, Beth from Storrs! That was a nice little surprise!

Astrid was by Re-Tail, and she told me what I already knew, that Saharah was in town. Punchy was nearby, and he ran up to me to say he had a present for me: a chain-gang shirt. Are you saying I'm a criminal, Punchy? I'm hurt. :'( A little later, Al wanted to trade said shirt for a toilet, and since I wouldn't mind him looking like a jailbird, I agreed. Unfortunately, he didn't put it on... Back by my bridge, Lolly and Mira were both happy and whistling, and I noticed Mira was now wearing the pleather vest Lolly had gotten from Eugene! It's spreading!!!

Mira was talking about Bunny Day (appropriate, really), and talked about how she felt her body had been hibernating all winter and now was ready to wake up. I'm not positive, but I don't think rabbits hibernate, Mira... Talking to Lolly again, she wanted me to take the flower personality quiz again. This time I chose dandelions, and found out that dandelions represent strength through adversity. Considering how much I've been through in my life, that kind of suits me. I finished up watering the rest of the flowers around town, and when I got back to the bridge, I saw Lolly and Apollo chatting. Lolly mentioned making pound cake, and offered Apollo some. He declined, saying that he didn't care for sweets, instead preferring creamed corn. What is wrong with you, Apollo? Lolly, I'll always eat what you bake. Apollo can have his disgusting creamed corn. Up at T&T, I found Savannah, and she said she's been spending too much money lately. I know what she means; there's just so much awesome stuff in this game that you have to buy it all! Unfortunately, I found no furniture that Apollo might like in his house (and no kitchen equipment to make his stinky cream corn), and there was also nothing I needed for my catalog. However, I did visit the Dream Suite to update my dream town, and Luna confirmed that Beth was my most recent visitor. Thanks a lot!

As such, I made my way back down south, where I saw Rosie by my illuminated tree. She wanted to sell me an after-school jacket for a fairly cheap price, and I agreed for the friend points. As I was passing by the upper part of town, I just happened to see my blue roses down on my north beach, and remembered I hadn't watered them yet. It was a good thing I checked on them, too, because I also found a lost item there! I checked around town for the pouch's owner, and had to go through almost all my villagers before I finally found its owner: Astrid. She said she kept her makeup in it, and mentioned a special eye shadow called "Veggie Stew for the Spring". I've honestly heard sillier names for makeup. As thanks, she gave me a purple tie-dye tank. After delivering Astrid's lost item, I couldn't help but smile. It was nowhere near her house, but it was very, very close to Eugene's house. Perhaps our little lovebirds (love-marsupials?) have been visiting one another without my knowledge...
Speaking of Eugene, he pinged me back in the plaza, and wanted to know if I wanted to buy a modern lamp. I immediately agreed, since I thought it would look good in Apollo's house. But after I bought it, the plan bit me in the backside: as I gave it to Apollo, he claimed he already had one in his house. D'oh! After this, I turned the game off to do some things, and came back later in the evening. Astrid gave me a prism tee and I found Al visiting Lolly (maybe he heard about her pound cake...), but that was about it.
Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, and that means Bunny Day! To those who have never experienced this holiday, make sure you have your tools ready (wet suit included!), and get ready for the looniest egg hunt ever!
