Anti Noobish

I've read many guides on what make an online community successful, and suggestions from many people on that matter as well. And this is exactly what causes the downfall of a community. It frightens new members away, and then the old members eventually stop logging in (It has to happen at some point), and then either the website is abandoned or overrun by "noobs". The point of an online community is for all members to get along, not pointless separation.
For once I actually understand and agree with your way or thinking... o_o

Lol.

I would like a club like that, but there really isn't a way to separate the n00bs from the vets on here, besides judging by grammar.

Maybe a VIP club o:

Or the People's club :p

(Right now, i'm sleepy as hell, so if that didn't make too much sense, that's why :p )

You get a group of really non-Nooby members, then you get them to moderate the members coming in.

In all honesty, I fail to see what's wrong with this idea. As long as we, the older members, didn't act like our being in the group made us better than the newer members, there's no reason not too.

To say it's a bad idea just because it would exclude some people... Is just a bad excuse. The ACCF YouTube Channel Group and EPIC are both for people that fit a specific criteria. I didn't come here from YouTube, and I'm not from Europe. I can't be a part of those. Why shouldn't we be allowed a group for just older members?

'The elder members'?

Not to offend you, but you just joined in January, only a month ago. If I were you, I wouldn't consider myself an elder member.

He's an older member with a different account.

This is stupid, It's just going to make people feel bad for no reason. Your are as "noobish" as the "noobs" for making this topic.

I'm one of the oldest members here and my stance is against it.
I would only support the idea if there wasn't anyone that saw the group as a prestigious badge that made it better than everyone, because when we had those types of groups and stuff like that there was always someone that envied the group.

I mean, I see the purpose of the group, to reward the long time contributors of TBT with a little group, but I don't want a flame war to spark because of it.

Three year anniversary is in less than two weeks, but my account was banned for associating with some people who insulted a staff member.

Heh, it's The Boat all over again. (The Boat: AXA Group that was eventually banned from the forums and created a new forum and are famous for being a bunch of idiots.)

Now really, what good is going to come from this? New members will be intimidated by this and we'll stop getting new members.

I'm an American member who was here before the YouTube channel was up. I'm intimidated by those two groups. Make them stop or new members who aren't from YouTube/Europe will stop coming. D:

c wut i did thar?

I barely see why new members would be afraid because they wouldn't even know what it is if they just joined. I mean, duh, think about it.

There ar hardly any new european members, anyway.
And E.P.I.C was made when Ciity Fok came out so that Europeans would be able to have a place to meet each other and play anima crossing toghether which is harder to do with people from fifferent time zones.

Most of the older members are gone because they held themselves higher than all the people flooding in after City Folk's release. Except for you, Andy, and a few others.

How would this be a big flame war?

There are quite a few members I would think that don't play ACCF anymore, and they want to have discussion with older members.
