Any ideas about streetpass?

i haven't really seen any specific threads on what Nintendo might do with streetpass if they include it at all. but i feel if they do include it and do a good job i'll literally bring my 3ds everywhere i go. i saw someone on the forum (please comment if you see this so i can give u full credit) say that people u pass should be able to get a tour of your town where the eagar secretary shows them around.
do u guys have any other ideas?

When I first read your post, I thought that you were some really outdated guy or that somebody had bumped an old thread, but then I saw the Animal Crossing part...

I think it is a pretty good idea, and Nintendo might imply it..

I think in order to send a full copy of your town to them, Nintendo would have to find a way to heavily compress the map files, as they're quite large including all the information about everything.

I could see something like an option to share your house though (like just house design) or maybe something like Pokemon Gold and Silver used to have where you could mystery gift another player once a day and both people would get a random item. Maybe a special item set that you could only get from that?


+If the Auction house still exists, maybe it could randomly share some of your auction items with other people via streetpass.
+If HRA is similar to City Folk, perhaps the HRA could display multiple rooms, and some of the rooms would be rooms you received via streetpass
+Mystery Gift!
+Letters in a bottle could be transferred to others via streetpass
+Chance of one of your town's fruits washing up on the shore of their town, like Coconuts do now?
+Chance of receiving a letter from one of the animals from the other town?



As much as it'd be cool to get a whole town or something, I'm not sure that anything that complex would happen since Streetpass is mostly built for quickly passing another person and transferring data in a few seconds, and that might take longer, but it's possible that they might discover a new compression format or figure out a way to only send say, a few parts of the town (say the dog only shows them your house, the museum, and the front gate, or something like that, then only a few pieces of map would need to be sent).

Wow! Those are some very good ideas, I like the HRA thing, and letters in a bottle from NPCs or even the player would be nice too.
