lopez! he was an auto fill in one of my acnl towns, and i had planned to move him out as soon as i could but he grew on me D: he’s such a cutie lol i didn’t want him to leave anymore but i had stopped playing acnl for a while and when i finally booted it back up he was GONE i was devastated

I had never heard of Agnes before buying ACNH, but she was one of my starters, and I love her so much. ❤

She's blunt, she's kind, she makes jokes (at my expense) and she has this really genuine personality. Somewhat unrelated, I'm really glad I got her in a starter house, because gifting things to her really brings together her personality.

Although I've never been a big fan of rabbits, with NH, I've discovered a great love for Claude!

He's one of my first 5 original islanders. The others have left but I've held onto Claude. It doesn't bother me that he still has his starter house. He's the reason I've become unusually fond of the lazy personality. (I didn't like the lazies in WW and NL so much.) I feel protective of him. If it ever happened that we could hug our animals, Claude would be the one I give my first hug to. ☺

It's Phil for me.

He was supposed to be a temporary smug to take the place of my mandatory smug Eugene, who I hated so so much. I didn't much care for his replacement, anyone but Eugene was fine lol.

I saw on gamefaq's trading board Phil was available for free, so went there to get him & he told me "I'd love to move to your island, suck it!", I laughed so hard cuz I didn't expect it. I told the guy Phil told me to suck it & instead of saying what I expected him to say like,"Oh sorry I forgot to delete his catchphrase", the guy said something like,"That's classic Phil!"

I laughed again, and that was it, I was smitten. That whole exchange made him feel so real for me and after finding out he was hit by the net daily, I decided my island was going to be his rehab place like when James Bond had to go to a remote island to heal after he nearly died

The guy (Phil's previous island rep) & I became ac friends and one time he was coming over to pick up something I told him I'd get the Dodos to frisk him for any hidden net cuz he's not allowed to bring one to my island lol.

Its Bunnie the Peppy Rabbit.

I don't know but when I lay my eyes on her she was so adorable and I do like rabbits in general because I used to have an actual pet rabbit in real life which sadly passed away in January 2017. The nickname "Bunnie" was the name my mom gave that Rabbit so I figured that I would invite her to my island. She and Hopkins are living on Destiny (my main island) and the two of them are getting a long really well.

I was doing something insane. I wanted to have my island to be all lazies. Very insane, I know. If someone decided to visit my island at the moment, they would find 6 lazies currently residing. Enter Cranston. Cranston is one of those lazies. It was difficult trying to get a whole island of lazies. Cranston was on the list, but barely made it. I abandoned my lazy island project (cuz it was insane) He's been great! Cranston is very underrated. There are many great lazies like Sherb and Stitches, but Cranston opened my eyes to playing with other less-known villagers. Now that I'm accepting other personality types, I'm hoping to look at villagers I've never invited or had in NL. Cranston will be staying for the time being.

Tammy was my first uchi in NL, and at first i really didn't like our dynamic, but as we grew closer i realky started to like her! I was super sad when she moved out without me knowing

Oh, I mentioned Agnes previously, but I forgot to mention Louie, the jock gorilla! Louie was the other of my two starters.

I wasn’t expecting to like jock villagers, probably because I think the “sporty” personality in ACPC is quite strong (a lot of using the word “brosephine”). They weren’t really that comparable though, because I think the villagers have a little more depth in ACNH than ACPC. Louie grew on me quite quickly. Louie loves fitness, he says a lot of fitness-related hyperbole which is funny, he’s very kind, and also super cute!

This is hilarious! Early in the game I had Claude & Sherb and their dialogue abt warm food was the funniest I ever heard. I now have Sherb & Broccolo but so far they haven't talked to each other. I'm now curious abt the convos if you have all lazies!

I was very surprised how much I like Beardo. I just received his photo and was planning to move him out for another villager (since I don't love his house exterior), but I'm pretty sad about it and plan to keep him around longer. I'll miss him and his unique whiskers.
