Anyone else already ANNOYED with the event?

I see mostly threads about people hating it lol. I don't know if I've seen any threads that are dedicated to loving it (I'm sure a few exist but it's disproportionately people who hate it). I personally like it and have made a few comments in other threads about why I like it but I can also see why so many people wouldn't. Trust me you're not alone in that though

Yeah, I guess its just a matter of opinions. I personally think the game could do without it. I sincerely hope that the other holidays aren't like this -- at all. Events were one of the few things I was looking forward to in this game, and this is nothing short of disappointing. Not a fan of having it revolve around crafting. I'm glad you like it though!

Mostly due to the 300 balloon glitch.
Might be a little overwhelmed trying to get the bamboo, cherry blossom, and egg stuff.

I feel like it wouldn't be nearly as bad (at least for me) if it wasn't happening at the same time during 2 other events- its honestly kinda maddening! I still have not gotten any of the cherry blossom event recipes, and I was super excited for them. I'm only getting the ugly egg furniture lol.
I usually don't time travel in AC games but I might just have to if I can't get any of the cherry blossom recipes... I was very excited abt that bag its so cute

i like it for now, but i know ill get tired of it soon. 12 days is too long imo :/

Yeah, the balloon glitch certainly doesn't help things for me, either. I don't even care for the ugly egg furniture anyways, so it really seems like it'd be worth it for me to just TT past this. Typically I don't like to TT in my own games, but its really tempting RN.

Good grief.
I do like the cherry blossoms. The eggs, however, are kinda getting annoying to me-I wanted to catch fish to sell or donate to Blathers, and instead, I get eggs...

when you hit the 'pop 300 balloons' nook miles achievement, balloons will stop spawning completely. theres a thread about it, should still be on the first page. its really sad
I can understand why people are getting frustrated cos you can’t fish and 12 days is a long time you can’t even go on islands to get away from it xD but I like the event wish both wasn’t happening at the same time cos I want to enjoy them on there own not at same time plus the balloon bug is frustrating

I’m not a fan of the cherry blossoms and bunny day happening at the same time while there’s a balloon glitch that potentially blocks people out from completing the event.

I have no issues with it tbh, but that's because I still have stuff to find and craft. I do feel like 12 days is a bit much, maybe 5 or 10 days for the event would have been better.
However I am a bit worried as I'm popping balloons like crazy, and I know there's a glitch once you get 300 balloons... It'll really suck if it isn't fixed before the event is over. But I'm assuming more people are going to encounter this glitch since the balloon spawn rate is so high for the eggs, so Nintendo should fix it soon.
