Anyone else already ANNOYED with the event?

I've never really cared for Bunny Day in any of the past games. This event reminds me a lot of Pocket Camp, so I'm already used to overdrawn holiday gimmicks. I'm gonna play the event thru for this year but more than likely skip it next year. I find it pretty annoying.

it felt like a gyroidite and an egg-version of fishing tourney at once... i can't... plus there's a sakura thing too (which i like though, and prefer to accomplish) too much going on considering the month just started. and majority of us are still trying to get into the jist of the game and growing our town.

I'm enjoying it though I definitely think nintendo shouldn't of made the eggs so frequent for a game that relies heavily on resources. Or at least make the eggs obtainable in another way then how we get our resources as well. Especially if this is gonna be going on for 12 days. I'd understand such a large amount if the event was really short, but with it being so long the amount of eggs you can get is way too much.

I am happy with how many eggs I'm getting cause I wanna make the whole set myself. I wanna be less lazy with this game then I was with new leaf.

I like it, but the water eggs are already getting on my nerves. Other than that I like the crafting and stuff, but I think 7 days would've been plenty. 12 is a bit much. I also don't really understand why there are so many different colour variants off the same outfit. Or, well, I understand it but It would've been better if they were just unlockable customization options and not each a different recipe because it's cluttering up my DIYs.

I see a lot of people commenting they want more sakura stuff, but the normal balloons still spawn at their normal rate, the easter balloons don't use up a normal "slot" so to speak. So it shouldn't be in the way of your chances of getting flower blossom recipes.

AFAIK you can easily avoid that by never claiming the miles for the last milestone! That's what I read on reddit at least but I can't find the source rn.

Why does everybody hate it? If you don’t care for the egg series, just don’t bother making it. Just sell the eggs as you find them and enjoy having a few extra bells. It’s really not a big deal.

I don't dislike the event, and I think most of the stuff you can craft is really cool but I wish they had made it a bit less 'in your face' or at least not made it last 12 days which i think is going to bore many players.
I just want to be able to catch fish without getting eggs instead

I'm having fun! I hate the furniture and 100% will be selling it once the event is over but I like the outfit stuff that is comes with! I've been fishing for ages hoping to get the water egg outfit and popping every balloon for the sky egg outfit but they've not cracked (ha) and given me the recipes yet. Not that it matters too much, since I got the leaf egg outfit and that's my fave. Running around in zig-zag striped oversized socks, ill-fitting dress and huge eggshell hat is hilarious TBH.

I really hate the event by the way. Balloons are driving me crazy. Also I want to hit my rocks and get iron/gold/stones....All I get is eggs now when I hit rocks. The game just released... And now valuable resources are taken away from me. I am also conscidering to time travel past it.

I feel as if the game is stressing me out which is not what it should do. But there's like tons of things to do at once... Soon I'll unlock sculpting probably and then what?! I want to check the cherry blossoms but all I get is ugly egg stuff.

Disapointed.

You can keep popping balloons! You can tell which balloons are for the event and which aren't - event balloons all have a pastel stripy rainbow design. Other balloons are solid red, yellow, green or blue. So long as you don't claim the Nook Mile reward for 300+ balloons popped, you won't get the bug where no more appear.

i'm taking part for the 40+ egg DIY recipes, though i don't plan on crafting any- but also i really want the sakura/cherry blossom items from regular balloons B)

but the patterned eggo hats are pretty cute-

I hate the event because it’s getting in the way of the Sakura event. I rarely get DIYs for it because all the balloons that spawn are freakin sky eggs. The Sakura recipes are the ones I’m after. Not the tacky egg furniture set.

It's not getting in the way of the normal balloons. They still spawn as always. There's just more balloons, the egg balloons are extra.

i have no complaints from the event, aside from some of the eggs being overwhelmingly easy to get while others you just have to get lucky to find enough of.. that, and the insane amount of balloons coming through my town. i've busted four slingshots already.

yup yup. exactly. this event is TOO early and heavy for some of us, especially for those who doesn't have a lot of time or those who just got the game. i know you're not forced to participate but...... where's the fun in that? maybe it's good that the event time is long though, i don't mind it. but i know for new players, it's annoying to get eggs instead of resources.

my sister just got the game. and she keeps getting eggs instead of resources or fish, imagine how many tools she's gotta break and gathering the woods won't be as easy as we did. so yeah i get why some could hate it or get annoyed by it.

I already have most of the recipes and I have so many eggs I have them all stacked near my house.

It was awesome for the first day, but I agree that 12 days seems a little excessive. There's a balloon (or 2) flying across the map every five seconds. I'm also not sure if we just have to craft all the recipes or do we have to keep all the items and have them in our inventory for the 12th?
