Anyone else already ANNOYED with the event?

I kind of wish there were more bunny/flower/spring themed rewards rather than the overwhelming majority of egg-based items. I think more players would enjoy a variety!

I’m frustrated. I feel like ever since the egg event update, I’m getting absolutely no cherry blossom balloon recipe drops anymore. It’s all Easter stuff.

I wanted to share that in my experience, the Easter balloons dont slow down the spawn of normal balloons. I've been seeing plenty of both in my town!

Me too! There is an absolute massive amount of balloons passing through my town.

I’m not that keen on the event, that’s for sure. I also agree with everyone who’s a bit disappointed it’s so crafting-heavy, and worry that’ll be the way all future events play out. From what we’ve seen and heard so far, I think that’s unfortunately much more likely than not. Crafting is this game’s core feature after all.

While that’s really good to know (so thank you for sharing) I think what bothers me most is that the influx of balloons is overwhelming. I hear one what feels like every minute or two, and I don’t like constantly interrupting what I’m doing just to check if it is a regular balloon or not.

I think the eggs are a little excessive. But I suppose it makes sense if they are wanting you to craft forty some items in 12 days.

if you listen closely you can tell by audio only. the easter balloons move quite a bit faster and have a sharper, higher whistle to their sound. hopefully that helps, you might learn to discern it and just ignore the fast sounding ones.

I want more cherry blossom DIYs, like everyone else here, but it isn't too terrible. I don't need so many resources that eggs are cutting into my supply. Would be nice to fish up a normal fish, though. I actually had fun decorating my town square with the fence and balloons, though, since my villagers are excited!

Catching cherry blossom petals is, surprisingly, slightly more annoying. They disappear so fast! And the net range feels weird.

Tip on cherry blossoms: If you go to the more top down view, then they are much easier to catch.

Honestly, I'm a bit annoyed over the fact that I don't get any balloons anymore with cherry blossom DIYs in them. All the time when a balloon appears, it's a dumb bunny day one. It sucks, 'cause I already have so many of the balloon eggs...

i'm not annoyed at all. only wish i was getting more sakura diys because of the two events happening at the same time, but other that i don't any issues with it. the only slight problem is me popping so many balloons knowing there's a glitch with them. yeah it's crafting heavy, but the only resources it's using are the eggs and we get them in an abundance so i'm just going with the flow. bunny day furniture has never been my favorite so after the event i'll probably end up selling all of it.. who knows maybe i'll change my mind the further it goes on

i try not catch that many balloons and been holding off fishing for a while because too many eggs. other than that, it's ok, it can get annoying though. don't really want pocket camp-ish events in new horizons.

I'm not annoyed by the event. I'm more puzzled why there are two time limited events going on concurrently with randomly generated DIY recipes for both the bunny stuff and the sakura stuff. Not to mention the new bugs and fish. It just seems like a lot is going on all at once.

I am not into the pastel egg aesthetic and rather want all the cherry blossom stuff. The tons of balloons stresses me out too :'D So I am slightly annoyed with it.

I've never really cared for Bunny Day in any of the past games. This event reminds me a lot of Pocket Camp, so I'm already used to overdrawn holiday gimmicks. I'm gonna play the event thru for this year but more than likely skip it next year. I find it pretty annoying. I want more cherry blossom recipes but am only finding bunny day :/
