Anyone else already ANNOYED with the event?

Why does everybody hate it? If you don’t care for the egg series, just don’t bother making it. Just sell the eggs as you find them and enjoy having a few extra bells. It’s really not a big deal.

my sister just got the game. and she keeps getting eggs instead of resources or fish, imagine how many tools she's gotta break and gathering the woods won't be as easy as we did. so yeah i get why some could hate it or get annoyed by it.

Having balloons is no problem. Having eggs inside my trees, rocks, rivers, oceans, and more is flat out annoying.

Eggs underground make more work for me finding fossils. And ruins my shovel faster.
Eggs in the tree leaves, fine, they just make a mess when I hit the tree.
Eggs made of wood? Not fine, I'm trying to get wood, not eggs, this limits my wood, and breaks my axe faster.
Eggs in rocks? Bad. I'm trying to get stone or iron, not eggs. Since rocks are limited, this is a huge waste of both resources and shovel.
Eggs in the water? If I am fishing, it's to make some money, or catch April fish. I don't want eggs, and they will break my fishing rod.

I already have most of the recipes and I have so many eggs I have them all stacked near my house.

It was awesome for the first day, but I agree that 12 days seems a little excessive. There's a balloon (or 2) flying across the map every five seconds. I'm also not sure if we just have to craft all the recipes or do we have to keep all the items and have them in our inventory for the 12th?

I'm also wondering this. Anyone know?

All the balloons are seriously annoying and I HATE the eggs in the water. I just want to fish normally. :/

Oh my god, yes. Everyone I’ve talked to feels the same way! All my regular activities are more difficult to do (like fishing) and I hate that catching eggs with my fishing rod counts towards it’s durability. I was really looking forward to this event but 12 days is definitely overkill in my opinion.

i really do not mind it!!! i was honestly getting bored with the same thing every week but this event gave me a goal to work towards that demon bunny is freaky and they could have put a little extra effort into either reworking his design and making him an actually bunny or creating an all around new one like daisy mae/flick. all in all i think its fun, but can't wait for leif and earth day as well

I am pretty annoyed by it, but only because Zipper is freaking terrifying to look at. On top of that, I just got this game yesterday, so I am trying to unlock all the tools and stuff, and get through tutorial mode. Now, I have collect eggs for recipes I don't even want for some manic Easter Bunny. The worst part is I don't even celebrate Easter -- I'm a freaking Pagan and Ostara was last month. This is just salt in the wound that my religion has been demoted to a fashion trend.

The eggs can get annoying when trying to complete certain nook miles quests, especially the “catch the fish” ones. Other than that I don’t really mind this. But honestly I would have MUCH preferred if they had an April Fools event yesterday and instead only held this Egg Event only for a week (4/6 - 4/12).

Evening guys, after playing the game for a couple of days I feel like I can post a solid opinion about the on-going events. I will say that this is coming from someone who briefly played wild world and new leaf and not an avid gamer of the animal crossing series whatsoever...until New Horizons came out of course lol.

Note: Some of this is just speculation, so of course there may be some of you that completely disagree or have solid opinions about certain things. I will not respond to them, but do quote me and correct me if I'm wrong and provide a source I can read about. <3

• Since it's suppose to last 12 days I think the reason why the devs did that is just in case of glitches, making necessary modifications, and things of that nature. This is the first event that they've released, so I didn't have any high expectations and figured that future events will (hopefully) be better.
• Bunny Day Event Eggs. Eggs. Eggs. They're everywhere so I won't be complaining about how hard it is to get. I definitely appreciate it being easy to obtain all the eggs to be able to craft everything. I've personally run out of room to store other resources like wood and etc. in my house, so collecting these eggs instead suits me fine.
• Earth Day Event As far as I know it hasn't occurred yet???
• Sakura Trees ouo I honestly didn't realize that I could capture the sakura leaves that were falling down. I thought it was just an added animation until I finally got a diy recipe using these sakura leaves. Pretty cute items and I look forward to crafting them.

Overall, I'm enjoying the event so far and like crafting a lot.

I DO like the egg items, but why do we have to craft them???? Specifically with limited time items. I hate that so much, what's the point???? I hope Halloween ain't like this.

Also another thing, there's a lot of the egg items but the rooms are too small in the houses for me to really make something Easter-y and nice.
