amiibo Festival Anyone else annoyed?

I don't really know why people were expecting a full game- New leaf came out two years ago, last tuesday. Animal crossing games take years of development- they're just trying to satisfy the masses with spinoffs. It may not be what you want, but a new AC game should come within the next few years.
Yeah! I hope at the very least you can use Amibo cards. There gonna make you buy a game for ?40 then charge you another ?30 in Amibos alone!!

But by calculation, it should be next year. And they aren't gonna do one because of NX. So in total Wii U would have skipped there own AC, but we know for sure that NX is a home/portable console so that's pretty cool. At least let AC be a launch game for NX

At least Nintendo NX should be good. And it's confirmed its going to be a hybrid! I think knowing them they are gonna call it Nintendo next or something XD.
I would love a console that I can plug into my TV and then take it out. I just hope it's still 3D XD.
I won't get those shovelware they are throwing at us : Happy Home Designer and amiibo Festival alike. Gosh ! What a disappointing day. I'll buy the amiibo, but don't even think those games are coming in my house. I keep garbage out. Where is a bona fide Animal Crossing game for Wii U ?

Hi, I'm new. I just saw the new games announced and wanted to talk about them. 
I will say that it does look like Mario Party with an Animal Crossing skin. I know someone who loves Mario Party and Animal Crossing, so this would be good for her, except for the amiibos. I don't see the point of wasting money on little statues just to get the full game. That's my take. The other game they announced looks a little better, but it still doesn't look like a full-fledged game of its own yet. Maybe it will look better as we see more of it.
To be honest I think it's a little early for a full Wii U AC game, too. I mean, it feels like New Leaf just came out. It has a huge community of players- Nintendo should wait until that dies down a bit. I think we'll get an AC Wii U in the latter half of the Wii U's life, maybe a couple years from now.

I honestly don't know much about the NX, what has actually been said about it? (I don't keep up with console news really XD)
But I kinda hope they don't release AC onto the NX right away if they go down that route. I personally would have loved it on the Wii U. I've only had the Wii U for just over a year because I got it when MK8 came out. Though the idea of a console that you can plug into the TV and take out with you is a really good one... it beats having to constantly move the time back on the Wii for City Folk because I got home late.
....I better hope I get that job at GAME when I turn 18 or else I'll never be able to afford it anytime soon XDD
But yeah, overall opinion of this game is not great.... I'll probably get Mable and Isabelle amiibo's because they look cute, but that'll be it. :/

Well. Your take is quite wrong. This E3 was a wake up call to players all around the world : Nintendo is kicking the Wii U in its grave hole. It has switched its ressources towards developing games for the NX. The Wii U will be dead in the water in 2016. We will never get a proper Animal Crossing game on the Wii U ever.

I don't really mind, I never excepted a full AC game for the Wii U. But it seems pretty cozy, and I like the notebook feel to the events.. But I don't plan to buy it

From what I have heard and out together myself, Nintendo NX is alongside the Wii U and the 3DS and The NX is part of the Transforming theme (so it's probably going to be able to transform to take out and put on the TV).
That's what I have made sense of but we never know what they could throw at us.

With the way the acted with not releasing the standard new 3ds in America I'm pretty sure that Nintendo won't realease a Wii U AC which NX being released next year.
But hopefully it could be a launch title? And also not related but who else thinks it would be awesome if you could play 3ds and Wii U games on the NX!
Nintendo has said today that Nintendo NX will be along the theme of transforming. And they have also said its alongside the Wii U and the 3ds. So what I am saying is just my personal opinion.
Never even heard of the NX until now! If it is intended to replace the Wii U, that'll make the Wii U a big waste. There are hardly any games on it.
I hope the next real AC game actually improves and adds onto things, like New Leaf did. I loved the Gamecube game, and Wild World was basically the same thing but portable, but that was cool. I played City Folk for maybe two weeks and got bored; it reminded me too much of the other two games. So whatever console the next AC is on, I just want it to improve the formula and not just add a few new things. Until Nintendo gets enough new ideas, I'm not interested. I am more than happy with New Leaf at the moment. Really, what would a Wii U game give us that we don't already have? AC is one of my favorite series, so I don't want Nintendo to rush and mess things up
