Anyone else not a fan of the new hourly music?

3 AM is so funny anyone who doesn't like it is CRAZY

I agree that the hourly music isn’t as good as in previous games. Most music doesn’t really fit the hour they are set in.

Now I do like the music from 12 AM, 1 AM, and 2 AM better than New Leaf’s. While New Horizons has the best 2 AM music, the 12 AM and 1 AM music from New Leaf are very scary tunes and being awake at those times of the day remind me of those songs.

I miss the 7 AM and 5 PM music from the GameCube Version and how they matched their times of the day.

I think the only one that really drives me crazy is 2 PM (and 3 AM to a lesser extent). I have to mute the game for that hour. But the late night music is really nice, especially 2 AM.

Gamecubes music was the absolute best to me and could never be beat, it was funky and cute. I don't find it similar to new horizons much at all, which feels kinda boring or just grating to me at times.

I found new leafs 7pm tune kinda disturbing/morbid NGL. It was odd, and if I wanted to have my dream address around that time I couldn't because it would throw the vibe of my town off.

This ones music is not bad, but not great either. On par with new leaf for me..
2pm is absolutely migraine inducing though..

Okay, I just listened to them all here to get it fresh in my head and actually dislike or feel completely neutral on all of them aside from 5am which is pretty. 2pm is still the worst.

I just made the mistake of playing at 3 AM for the first time..

So far the music really hasn't stood out to me at all, except 8 AM which is my favorite. It's so upbeat and such a joy to listen to!

When I listen to the tracks on their own, they sound fine - generally a chill-groovy & happy vibe.

My struggle is that a lot of them don't fit the New Horizons aesthetic - the sounds used in many of the arrangements come across overly bright and feel jarring in the context of the game's atmosphere :| It's the one stain in my overall tremendous enjoyment of this brilliant experience so far.

However my favorites are: 6am, 12pm, 6pm, 2am, 4am & 5am. They're followed by: 7am, 11am & 12am. The rest just don't draw me into the experience.

It's overall quite okay. Didn't heard all of them yet, but those which I heard so far aren't that bad.
