Still resetting...fruit...airport... x.x
I remember New Leaf, where I resetted for two months around 3-4 hours every day before I got the map I wanted. I will only get New Horizons on Monday, but I am already scared as I want a combination of apples, east river exit that is pretty low, blue airport, the strip of land extending into the sea on the left and pretty high up as well as the resident services on the bottom right.
Guess it'll be a lot of weeks until I'll start playing, haha. Not looking forward to it, to be honest. Remember to take breaks when resetting, guys, or it gets frustrating really, really fast!

I actually didn't need to reset! Before I started the game up I had a feeling my island fruit would be oranges and I would get a blue seaplane/airport. AND I DID!! I was so happy and relieved that it wasn't pears 
I think I would have preferred to have peaches or cherries, but I didn't want to risk getting a different colour airport and 2 villagers that I disliked more, so I stuck with it

I reset for a little over an hour and never saw one peach, lol. But then I got Reneigh and couldn't bear to reset her away. So it looks like I have oranges yet again, but oh well. I like my map and love Reneigh to pieces, so I'm happy.

I wanted peaches and a blue/orange airport. But I also kinda wanted cherries, so once I finally got cherries/orange I stopped.
I didn't really need to reset- I went in with an open mind, hopefully being happy with whatever I got, and I was! I got a layout I was very happy with, I got a yellow airport, and apples!! My two villagers were cool too! I'm not super bothered by who I get, especially because they can be replaced!

What are the different airport color and can you not change the color later on?
I reset for around 45 minutes before I finally got an island with peaches (the fruit I wanted) and Fuchsia (who was a villager I really wanted since we were limited to Uchi and jock), so I'm super happy! I should have also mentioned that my airport is blue which is the color I wanted!

I've already started my game, I got the fruit I like and the map I like but I really wanted Muffy I gave up on hour 2 and im kind of regretting it.... :'( top tier villager imo

I only reset for about an hour before I found a map I liked with peaches. Sadly the airport is orange.. I wanted yellow, but I'm hoping that we can repaint it or redesign it in the future.
I did get Genji as my jock though, which is a huge bonus for me
