Anyone have villagers that have grown on them?

For me, it was Pashima. In my NL town, she was a starter and I despised her and had her move out as soon as possible. But she's followed me onto my island, and I gave her a second chance (didn't have much of a choice, huh) and now she's really grown on me. Anyone else have similar stories?

My starting villagers were Buck and Cherry. I'm not fond of them as a whole, but they've started to grow on me as time goes on. I also have Annabelle, who I wasn't sure about but as soon as she moved in she's been super sweet, and even sent me letters with gifts to congratulate me whenever I upgrade my home.

i want to hate hazel but shes actually so nice and it makes me feel conflicted. i want to move her out for a villager i planned to have before starting but shes actually growing on me...

One of my two first villagers was Tank and I was kinda disappointed. I had him in New Leaf for a while and he just wasn't my favorite. After having him around for a week on my island I'm starting to like him though! He was sick today too and he looked so adorable in his pyjamas, haha.

shari is one of my island starting villagers. i plan to move her out when the time comes, but i have the highest friendship with her currently... it's super sweet how she gifts me things and how she slowly opens up about herself. idk, i'm almost tempted to keep her around...

Sydney, she's so sweet!! She looks adorable in her overalls and I saw her singing multiple times. I've never had koalas in my towns and I was neutral to them, but she's growing on me

Bones is absolutely adorable and I love him. I didn't expect to like a lazy this much at all, but he's so cute!

I didn't like nor dislike her prior, but Paula was one of my starting villagers and she's grown on me I actually like her design quite a bit, and her outfit goes nicely with it!

Buck has really grown on me. While I don't plan to keep fuchsia, she has been really sweet too.

Rory!! I wasn’t impressed with him at all as my starter but he grew on me so quickly. He’s not classic cutebut he looks like such a cute derp, I just gotta love him lol. He even became my island mascot. It started when he suggested “BUFFBURG” as island name that I fell in love lol

Flo is definitely growing on me alot. I’m not sure whether or not to keep her on my island anymore.

i've never cared much about bird villagers, but today i saw lucha staring intently at a bug going ":V" and now i'm conflicted lol. perhaps i'll focus my move-out efforts on someone else.

Hazel was one of my starting villagers and I actually gagged upon seeing her for the first time, but she's been so nice thus far like someone else previously said. She's the one who's given me the most recipes for crafting, so she's for sure been very helpful. Though she's starting to grow on me, if she and her unibrow ever asks to leave, I don't think I'd say no.

Buck has really grown on me. While I don't plan to keep fuchsia, she has been really sweet too.

This. I started with Buck and Tammy. Buck always talks about fitness to me and gave me medicine when I was stung. He’s not the best visually but there is something cool about him. We shall see if I keep him.

Yes!!! Cole. He was one of the 3 house plot move ins and at first I was not feeling him at all but he's grown so much to me he's automatically staying.

Also I've been seeing Pashmina lately that I decided I wanted her in my island and got her last night. Can't wait to warm up even more to her.

Kiki. When I saw her in New Leaf I was just kinda meh about her. I saw her on a mystery island here and decided to invite her, planning for her to only be temporary. Then she started growing on me.. I'm never letting her go!

Bill has grown on me a bit. I was alright with him in the start, but now he's becoming a staple of my town. I already liked Fauna and Zucker before they moved in too, but having them here has made me love them even more!

I didn't like my starter villagers Plucky and Sprocket at all at first. Now they've grown on me a lot more, especially Sprocket. With that being said I'll probably still want them out eventually haha. They run up to me and give me items a lot though and are both sweet and funny but still not the cutest to me.

When I was looking for my 3 villagers on Mystery Island, I used about 20 Nook Miles Tickets and found Erik at least three times.
I didn't want him as I was looking for villagers I liked and he didn't fit "my aesthetic". But as I used my last NM Ticket, he was the one on the island and I had to invite him or risk getting a random that was even "worst".
Now I don't regret my choice, I find him very cute adorable and I love his personality, and I would never let him leave my island, even for a dreamie.
