I normally go to bed at 10:30, so I guess I’ll be skipping it unless my neighbors are really noisy with fireworks and keep me awake. I‘m also against time travel so I’ll never get to complete it.
I'm not entirely sure. I work both the 31st and the 1st, but I go in later on the 1st, so I could stay up. Chances are I'll wind up doing it, but there's still a possibility somebody will sucker me into going to their house to celebrate.
I’m also not gonna stay up just for the in game event (I also typically limit myself to not play acnh at night), but I will be time traveling a bit so I can still experience it
I am awake at midnight more often than not, to be honest. The thing is, I will probably not be playing ACNH at new years even though I'm not sure how I'll be celebrating it yet. I guess I'll also be messing with the clock for this one!
I'll probably do the new years event if i remember... but i'd probably be busy celebrating with my family watching the fireworks on tv or watching the illegal fireworks going off outside lol (corona won't stop ppl from popping fireworks orz they've been popping for several weeks already)
my friend will be timetravellign ahead on her island so we are going to do it together on hers, im looking forward to it. we are planning on spending the night together with takeaway, snaccs and bad movies. nice and quiet and relaxed
New Years is one of the rare times I actually stay up beyond ~11 so I'll be doing it! although I might set my switch to an hour or so earlier depending on what I end up doing at actual New Years (although realistically at best it'll be some kind of zoom call with friends)
I've never played through any of the NYE's events because I'm always celebrating new years lol haha. But is it really an event? Usually it's just some fireworks and you get an item from Isabelle/Redd, right? Is there something to do this time?
