I'm not talking about furniture or anything like, that since that's a given..I mean more in terms of features and game mechanics. Animal Crossing will always be Animal Crossing, but every new game we gain some features and lose some features. For me I hope everything from HHD will be available in New Horizons. They already have the half steps for furniture, but I also want ceiling decorating, curtain changing, sound effects for your house, and more house space and different house sizes like in HHD. Plus I'd love it if you could resize your house at anytime, like after you finish paying off an upgrade, you can redownsize to past upgrades if you wanted to like you can in HHD, instead of always being stuck with the bigger house. I don't think there's anything I want back from the gamecube or wii games, but from WW, I'd love to have the bottled messages and constellations back, and from NL, I hope swimming comes back.

I want some less nicer villagers. :/ Okay, that is too repeated so... I want sports festivals. Oh, that is also repeated. I want that raffle thing. However, I kinda want to have some other furniture that you can actually buy, so that I have access to furniture I can easily buy.

The island setting is the perfect chance to bring back the note in a bottle. Since you won't be wirelessly communicating between systems in most cases, however, you could have it so that whenever you're online, there a small, random chance to get a note in a bottle from a random person (or even just a random person on your friends list if you want to get controlling).
The Morning Aerobics and the flea market. I miss these two so much, especially the first one was so
much fun. And the observatory needs to come back too, I was and am still disappointed that they
removed it in New Leaf.

I have mentioned this in like 3 threads but I am hoping for the option to toggle old school AC hourly music. I would also love to see morning exercise back!
I never got to play HHD, so I'd love to try out all the new stuff they included. I also used to love the Flea Market event back when playing WW and CF, it was the perfect way to get rid of ugly furniture in my villagers' houses! And I miss the possibility of unlocking a bigger city you can visit after a while, like you could do in CF, but I don't see how that could work in NH, since we're on an island lol.

2. Sports event from the original
3. Yay day (IDK why but this just seems hilarious to me)
4. Glowing spots on the ground
5. Bottle mail. (Especially because you're on an island. It'd be even better if you could reply to people who sent you bottle mail.)

Some aspects of Happy Home Designer. I'd like my island to have 1 or 2 empty buildings I can decorate to my liking : ice cream parlor, or a restaurant or a clinic. I really liked that in HHD.
Also, I'd like them to bring back all villagers except those tacky ones that were brought in for promotional purposes. I don't want the 7-Eleven one, the Hello Kitty one, the Zelda/Splatoon/Mario ones. They don't belong.

A few to name would be the ball you got to kick around, the dump, and morning aerobics. I would especially love the morning aerobics. I think it sounds fun to do, but really, if they could incorporate everything in, then why not?
