Maybe this might actually be a 50/50 on this. I never interact with anyone, but if I did. I'd be both shy and outgoing. Would that consider me an equal person?

*slams hand on desk* INTROVERT.

You're considered an ambivert. It's an even mix of both.

Just gonna put this out there but introversion and extroversion have nothing to do with if you're shy or talkative or quiet or anything. They have to do with whether you have more energy when you're by yourself or whether you become more energized when more people are around you.

I'm an introvert. I'll talk to people but I get drained around others really quickly even if I'm just walking by myself and not interacting with anyone at all. I end up just really wanting to go home and relax.

Introvert. I hate social events and I don't know how to talk to people. At school I literally just sit in the corner of every class and work by myself. :p I like spending time with friends but after while I usually feel the need to go home, there's only one friend who I could literally spend all my time with without getting tired.

I don't know which 1 I am I think I'm both. But I voted introvert cause that's what I've been saying for years anyway.

Idk like. I enjoy going out and socializing, but if I'm left alone I won't do anything about it ? no idea what to call that

I have no problem speaking with big groups either...I just hate 1 on 1 conversations

I'm introverted. I can spend time with people, but it is pretty draining. I prefer to be by myself or with my husband. I feel most at peace when I'm taking a morning jog alone.

Okay this helps. I was reading the thread and people were explaining their reasoning and it made no sense to me but I tried to follow along anyway. With that definition tho. I guess I am more energized when I'm with other people both online and irl. But at the same time I'm not upset being alone if I can occupy myself with something.

i'm very introverted, and when i was younger i felt really out of place with society and the people around me
i've never had huge groups of friends, and i would much rather spend my nights wrapped in a blanket and reading a book than going out to parties.

now i've accepted it's just a part of who i am as opposed to something i wish to change about myself.

After seeing nvll's post I felt I had to remove my original post cuz I was incorrect and I couldn't stand it lol :I

Well, now that I'm educated in what Extrovert/Introvert really mean...

I voted Intro, but I would actually be Extro! Oops!

introvert

also on an unrelated note i'm apparently the rarest myers brigg personality type INTJ

^ This made me curious, but I'm apparently not too far off. I'm an INFJ~

I'm kind of a mix of both. I genuinely need alone time, and it's my time that I recharge and wind down. After a short while though, I crave interaction. Then if I'm around people a lot, I need to be alone. But I love company, and talking nonstop lol.

Actually I checked it, INFJ is around 1% of the population, INTJ is 2%

I'm an introvert, I've never been one for going out a lot or being around people. I wish I was more extroverted, some people don't understand why I'm not massively, or sociable at all really. Had it pointed out that there must be something wrong with me ;) but I read somewhere before that for somebody with an introvert personality, not spending enough time by yourself can cause depression and all sorts. I suffer bad anxiety anyway which probably doesn't help things, I hate being in crowds of people, even waiting rooms bother me.

I am the biggest extrovert you will ever meet. I like people, love parties and big events, love public speaking and having conversations, enjoy large friend groups and small ones, strike conversations with literally anyone, etc. I never feel tired when spending time with people, but ALWAYS become tired when I am alone or not doing anything on weekends. Which is why I am incredibly bad at doing assignments alone without music/youtube videos/skype/other people, I always need something acting as a person to keep my energy up.

I am ENTP on the 16 personalities spectrum, which accurately describes me; it's also one of the rarest types for females in the world :/

I a huge introvert irl, u prefer being by myself rather than being in a crowd and I don't really like social events like parties or the like. Even hanging out with my friends can get a bit exhausting which always makes me feel bad but I just find it so much easier to be alone and to sit on my laptop or DS and just relax (with my cats of course ^^) although being alone with my thoughts can be a little unnerving so I usually keep my headphones in and play some nice calm music.
Online I try to be more extroverted, take part in many conversations and talk to as many people as I can, probably because I know that I can't be judged as much as in real life so I don't have to worry as much. The Internet is basically my little safe space where I can be relaxed and happy and escape from the stress of everyday life.
