How is your playing style so far? Do you find yourself spending way more time with HHP?

I'm spending more time with HHP currently as I want the poki to buy the items.

I’m playing the main game more by far. The update has really brought me back and I have a lot of decorating I haven’t completed yet.

That being said I have played the DLC a little here and there. It’s fun but I still prefer the main game more. I’m mostly doing the DLC to unlock more customization options back on my island. So I’m mostly playing it occasionally on the side to make slow progression.

I'm balanced with both and usually either do 2-3 rushed homes for Poki or if a dreamy pops by i'll actually put my time in haha. I find the base and HHP enjoyable together!

I should add I make sure to visit HHP everyday for DIY on beach+Cafe/Restauraunt and clothing shop runs : ) adds a flavor of fun! I also realized well furnished villagers homes (when you speak to them on the beach) can give you gifts to thank you some are exclusive <3

How I'm playing is, is that I binged HHP when it came out so got lots of Poki.
Now I'm not designing houses that much. Maybe 1 or 2 a day. But i am spending the poki each day still.

Spending my days on my main island now just playing the regular game.

Once my poki runs out, I will spend the day designing houses to stock it back up.

And that will be my cycle going forwards.

main game, although not vastly more than i was pre-update. i'm not a decorator. i've only had the energy to decorate a house a day since release and didn't do one yesterday because i was too tired and short on time. i'm not sure how much i'll play it, if at all, when i finally unlock all the stuff tied to it.

main line more, I love hhp but I've only made two homes, there's just so much going on on my island that I don't get much time to visit. I also want to take it slow with getting all the new items because I want to have all the color variations and it take a lot of time with Cyrus.

I like decorating the houses (and put a good bit of effort in,) so it can vary by day but probably comes out comparable.

Idk, I guess it's half and half? Maybe the main game a bit more.

Whenever I feel overwhelmed and uninspired on my island, I play HHP.

I'd say I'm 50/50.

I do all my daily chores first and if inspiration hits I might do a bit of decorating and then I head over to HHP and do some decorating on there as well as see what's available in the shop that I can then catalogue for later on.

literally the exact same thing I'm doing ahahah

I'm playing HHP much more. I had not been playing the main game at all this year till the update announcement, so my main island is a bit of a mess and I still don't feel I have all the right DIYs and items to decorate how I want. So it's nice to just go and decorate a house and yard without having to go get stuff or move things.

Currently its about 50/50 as im continuing with my daily chores and exploring kapp’n islands. But i will always finish my ac day with a trip to HHP even if it is just to renovate 1 house, as i love the pocki items!

For several days it was mostly HHP. Yesterday I spent all my time on my main island. I’m sure I’ll go back and forth depending on my mood.

main game for now, but i did play HHP a lot when i downloaded it. i'm not in a hurry to finish HHP because i finished HHD so quick, and after it i got bored.

im playing waaayyy more of happy home at the moment. ill spend like half an hour on my island doing dailies and then get sucked into happy home for 3 more hours. i spend so much time designing their houses haha it takes me forever which i think is the main reason. also they just really hit it out of the park with the dlc imo and im just so eager to keep unlocking stuff and getting the cool furniture and stuff

HHP, but it's mainly because there's a lot to do in it and it takes me so long. I take about 45 minutes-1 hour to design each house and building. Even though the main game has a lot more dailies to do than it used to, it still doesn't take that long to do.

Over the weekend, most of my time went into HHP. However, I start my day with my standard island routine (which has gotten longer with the update), and I haven’t had time to play more than that during the week. So I tend to play the main game for a set length of time every day, and then any extra time goes towards HHP.

i’m currently playing the mainline game more. i’m not great at interior/exterior designing, and i don’t have much energy or creativity left in me once i’m done with my mainline daily routine as there’s so much more i have to do now lol, so i typically spend around 2-5 hours on that and around 1-2 hours on hhp every day.

Main game, I forgot that I don't really like the designer spinoff that much.............

But for real, I've been working on my island since it's not ready yet and the DLC unlocks are more like endgame things. If I was less lazy I'd try to check each Poki item each day, but they all unlock for bells in the end anyway right? Feel like designing all houses one day during Christmas break, unless the game softlocks you from doing like 40 houses or whatever you need to unlock all content.
