I met most of my friends at school so we're all roughly the same age :))) but if they weren't they would most likely be older than me? Either because they were my brothers friends or because I'm just not cool enough to be confident befriending kouhais ahuhuhu

Most of them are definitely older than me. I also notice that I can get along better with those who are slightly older than me, than those who are younger than me. I don't really know why, though. :p

I would say I have only a handful of friends, but their ages vary from younger, to same, to much older than me! One of my good friends is in their 60s while my best friend is only a few months older than me.

Most of my friends are about my age, +/- 2-3 years. That's not to say I don't get along with people younger/older, it just so happens that most of my friends currently are close to my age.

Most of the people I now hang out with are from work, and the youngest is about 4 or 5 years older than me. The oldest are my mom's age lol. I enjoy them though.

It's a mix for me. Some are older, some are younger, some are the same age as me. Whoever I get along with is whoever I get along with, regardless of their age.

I really don't know how old my online friends are. I only know one who is a year older than me. I know some 4 people l know are younger but the rest is unknown.

I look younger than my age, cliché I know, so younger people tend to become my friends, but because of this older colleagues tend to "take me under their wing" until they realize I'm not that young at all. Plus in college you tend to make friends of all ages.

The age group of my friends vary.

As a teenager, I befriended lots of people older than me ranging from 17-28 because I was a lot more mature than my peers. I don't have a huge personal friend group as an adult because many people I've encountered (of all ages honestly) are immature and childish and I don't have the mental capacity for it. I really don't like 🐂💩. Most of my friends are coworkers who range from age 19 to 40, but I'm also a manager and don't tend to hang out with those people outside of work. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have my husband, my cat, and my gecko and I'm pretty happy with that :')

With irl friends they’re all within a year of my age. I met them all in elementary and high school, so it isn’t too surprising.

Online most of them are older. I think I tend to gravitate towards more mature people. That and the fact I’m used to being around people who are much older than me. Both of my moms and all of my aunts and uncles are well into their 60s. Being exposed to them my entire life probably rubbed off on the kinds of people I want to be friends with.

Most of my friends are older than me by 5 to 40 years. Age doesn’t matter to me at all. If I get along with someone, I don’t care if they’re 18 or 80 (that is only true for friendships, not for romantic relationships).

It varies, but I generally get along better with older people cause most often my references and views are a lot of things that older people have, in a good way, as well.

I don't actively seek people out of any specific age group, but somehow I always find myself the youngest in my friend groups. Sometimes by one or two years, others by five or more. I'm sure that's aided in crafting me into the mature and refined person I am today.

(I am neither of those things)

Most happen to be around my age (late 20's-early 30's) some are quite a bit older though, I have a really good friend I spend a lot of time with who is 50 for example, I don't care about age as long as we get along and have some similar interests

My answer has changed to younger now. Definitely not too young, though. I can’t deal with the immaturity that is evident with some minors, but most of my friends are now younger than me. Only one person that I actually consider my friend is older.

What friends? I haven't had friends since high school. But to answer the question, they were all around the same age as me because we met in school.
