Ahh, that's nice for them to do!! I usually have to get mine from like, amazon...rip.
I think the most expensive book I had was for a biology class and it was like, a little over $200??? WE DIDN'T EVEN USE IT...HIS POWER POINTS WERE TOO DETAILED but my grandma wouldn't let me return the book early. We didn't have in book assignments either so it was just left to rot in the corner of my room B')

I always wait a week into classes to see if we actually need the book or not; then if we do I just download it from somewhere.

haha i hate buying books from amazon for that reason!
and ughhh its so annoying when they don't even refer to it; i was told on day 1 that i would need to buy a certain book on biological statistics bc the lecturers always refer to it... a month in and it hasn't left my shelf. i haven't even needed to double check anything in it either! ;o;
