Ask Delphine what the meaning of life is

If you were a television series episode, what would you be about?

Hmmm... not sure I understood the question well, a part of me understands 'if you were a TV show, what would you be about' and another part understands 'if you were an episode from an existing TV show, what would you be about' x) Something that has to do with censorship or imagination I guess, freedom of speech... values that are important to me. Yeah, I'd be an episode from South Park (I know, I know...)

Thanks for the question and sorry if my answer was disappointing x)

Yeah, an episode from a nonexistent television show. And not at all disappointing.

How has the cycling experience been for you?

Your cycling topic was started on the 21st of August. Is your cycling experience actually much older than that?

That's a relief! n_n

It's been great so far! I love making people happy, and I've had positive feedback so it's great. To be honest, I wish I could cycle more every day, but at the same time I want to give every villager a chance. The only thing that disappointed me was how little entries I got in raffles. Always lots of views, but never so many entrants. And I can't bump when most people who live in the States are active on the forums, because I'm sleeping... so it's a little frustrating. And why would people view the thread, if not to enter or at least bump? Just so much bad timing.

I had never cycled before; I did try to cycle fast for Hamphrey in my main town but I just hate to TT with my main file... so scared to lose villagers and to ruin my friendship with them, you know? So it was a harsh failure :'D But I got lots of great advices from a certain guy named Zulehan (pretty cool in my opinion) and the great Zaidaa and it helped me a lot before I started cycling seriously with another file n_n/ Thanks again for that!

If time's are tough and the countries wealth stage goes from prosperity to depression, meaning that you would be losing lot's of job's and money, how would you reply to the government? Canada is going into the depression stage...

Don't know well enough Canada's economic situation but in times of trouble and depression, the people have to be united and solidary I guess. When the government doesn't have enough money (and they never have enough) in my country, they just charge more and the rich pay more taxes to help the poor. Better than nothing but still has its limits of course, it can be and is discussed. Government can also try to create jobs. But it wouldn't help the country in the long term. Best thing in my opinion is recession at that point... but once again, I wasn't the best in my economic class...

When life is like "You know what, screw you." And starts to work against you, what would you do to withstand it?

You keep holding on to make life feel mad, and then life will leave you at peace.

Yeah, my giveaways for 'tier 1' villagers sometimes did not get as many entries as I would hope, either, but I did have an unusual requirement for entry: the entrant had to explain how s/he helped people in this forum community.

And I am slow at cycling for the same reason: I keep unpopular villagers for an hour or more, especially if somebody asked for them. Sometimes it frustrates me because it turns out the person did not want them anymore and did not bother to say so, but that is balanced out when someone is super grateful that I actually held the villager for so long. After all, I know everyone has a lot going on in their lives and cannot always be on at the exact moment I would like.

As for views, important to keep in mind that a lot of times views might be from search bots. I notice when I start a topic I might have over a dozen views right away, and that is because the search bots are relentless: they view topics constantly. I remember when my forum ran on the same software as this one, and I installed an add-on to differentiate between search bots and regular guests.

Hamphrey!

Do not remember if I noticed before that you are a fan of Hamphrey, assuming I understand correctly? Hamphrey is one of my favorites.

I was scared about using TT too, but fortunately had a friend who soothed my fears about it by talking about her experiences with it. I do not TT on my main town anymore; just for the cycling town.

But I got lots of great advices from a certain guy named Zulehan (pretty cool in my opinion) and the great Zaidaa and it helped me a lot before I started cycling seriously with another file n_n/ Thanks again for that!
Yay, thank you.
