Oh graphic design, cool! I've always been interested in going to school for it. I'm now working on getting my general AA degree for now, as well as illustrating for children's books, posters, logos etc lol. How do you like graphic design?

Graphic design is very very hard, not sure how I'm feeling about it. I know I don't want to be a designer, but I think this program is really good for teaching me communication methods for other things I want to do in life, like I wanna make a coloring book thats like not for kids, and I want to get into animation and entertainment. By the end of this year I will have a better idea of how I feel about the program tho!

I learned a LOT about myself. personal growth I would say is the best thing that happened. I'm still learning about myself and thats my main life motivation right now. In a similar stream of consciousness: I went to Hawaii for 2 weeks, even though it is still America, learning about Polynesian (basically just a new kind of) culture was extremely eye opening and healthy for me
I would let it in and try to make friends with it, but then after I gained its trust I would break it with the sword my brother keeps in his room- as a punishment for trying to break into my house.

Oh wow, yes I've heard how difficult it can be, bless you. What in particular makes it very difficult? I had a friend who also struggled with it and always wondered this. Coding? Or overall tediousness?
Also, you want to make a coloring book? Does that mean you illustrate as well?

The hardest part right now is the tediousness. we're doing all of our first year projects by hand (hand cutting paper, glueing, melding, laser cutting, etc.) and I am a very sloppy, messy, stylistic artist. Its extremely frustrating to me because I get bad craft grades constantly.
Yes! I love drawing. I am mostly a color pencil artist. I do a lot of extremely experimental styles that would make a really fun coloring book, but I can also do realism if I actually sit down and take my time. I'm trying to find a balance between the two styles

Yes I love getting dressed up, I went to a prep high school so I had to dress rather fancy every day. I prefer to wear a lot of knit, tribal and ripped grungy clothes, but I do have a lot of nice khakis, button ups, suits, ties, etc for weddings and nice dinners. I wouldn't say im a high fashion person but I care a lot (too much?) about my appearance lol
Ah wow, I thought so. I really hope that you make it to where you want to be, an artist shouldn't feel uncomfortable this way, I'm sorry! And omg another illustrator cool! I'm gonna try my best not to fangirl too much but, I'd love to see your work! I mostly do my illustrations by tablet now as most of my customers need them, but I started out traditionally and love it so much!

I'm currently not taking any art classes right now, so I'm sure I wouldn't be able to draw/color/paint like that for a little bit, but thats kinda the art I do!

Holy-! THESE ARE INCREDIBLE! You're very talented, Jacob, I really hope you know that! I miss art class, the creative juices really flowed the most back in grade school. Once I got into college, those juices kinda well, weren't flowing much anymore. I really hope we can find our dream jobs, yknow? And seeing this, it's truly inspirational. (So sorry I got too soft for a bit lol).
So what else do you do with your time nowadays?
