Ask Zulehan stuff

What do you usually put on your waffles?
Dipped in chocolate and sprinkled in sugar.

When it was open near where I live, the local Fresh & Easy sold fresh waffles imported from Belgium. The waffles were individually wrapped in packs of five. No other store near my house except for Trader Joe's sells fresh waffles.

Oh, and thank you for the questions, Delphine and Radda.

Back to you hehe! Favorite chocolate and Ben&Jerry's?

Also, what are your plans for the weekend? A late birthday party? :D

Heh, answering those questions was exactly what I had in mind when replying in your ask topic. To rephrase: Scharffen Berger and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory remain my favorite American chocolate brands. Although the former is now owned by Hershey's, their chocolate is still decent and made in-house. And it remains the prestigious brand that Chef Julia Child, that popularizer of French cuisine in the States, called the best chocolate she ever tasted in the States.

Rocky Mountain is sold in the local store by that brand, whereas Scharffen is sold by the American wine store Bevmo.

Oh, almost forgot Ritter Sport! Those are more commonly found, and also sold in a local German restaurant called Gazzolo's.

As for Ben & Jerry's, definitely the chocolate brownie, though I still want to try more flavors. Oh! Cookie dough!

Eh, just homework. I do not have big parties: just a small event with barbecue at most.

As always, your questions are most welcome.

Barbecues are cool! Good luck with your homework then :)

I don't know these chocolate brands, should try some next time I visit the States (hopefully this summer I'll have the opportunity to)!
And glad to see we agree on the chocolate brownie ice cream :3

Does your body need a lot of sleep?
Mm, I suppose so. I have no trouble getting up in the morning and usually jump out of bed one minute before the alarm goes off, but since I often have to sleep late I take a lot of short naps in the day time.

Favorite Pizza topping?
I like the usual pepperoni and sausage. That sounds boring, but it is incredible if the pizza is made well. Along those lines, some of my favorite pizza makers include the in-house chefs at Costco, a local European restaurant called Euro Grill, and another local restaurant called Two Guys Pasta and Pizza. I also like several 'smaller' local places that make pizza.

A pizza place I used to like but that is no longer decent is Maxwell Street Pizza Parlor. The pizzas were two extra large and all the toppings you want for around $20. And when I say extra large, I mean you better be a big man or woman to carry them out on your own. The parlor was next to my house, had a medieval tavern feel, had arcades and a jukebox. The employees were rude but made the best damn pizza you ever tasted. My first conversation with an employee at Maxwell went something like this: 'I'd like two extra large. Hey, wait, is that $20, all toppings?' 'Hey, look, it's not that hard, man—' 'Nah, I mean, I can't believe it.'

Anyways, Maxwell fell under new ownership several times, and last I went there the pizza was too thin and the toppings were sparse and far in between. The cooks had not mastered the large vintage ovens beside them, or even how to put a pizza together. In other words, even the guys at Dominoes could make a better pizza.

I think I pulled a muscle on my thigh..

How are you?
Pretty good since all I have left to do this weekend is study, rather than work out equations.

Thank you for the questions, guys!

I have school tomorrow..
So do I. Well, actually, I am only going to school as part of my job; i.e., a few students need help with their essays. Should be an otherwise uneventful day, which I may even end by playing some Shovel Knight.

I decided to put my 3,000th post on your thread. Do you feel honored? You should.

What real world fruit do you wish was in acnl?
Mm... Well, I wish it were practical for the game to show differences between varieties of the same fruit, though that would require more detail for the trees and the fruit. For instance, the game and a lot of people take the Cavendish banana for granted as 'the' banana, but I much prefer the Ni?o banana. As for oranges, it takes the navel orange for granted as 'the' orange, but I much prefer Cara Cara, blood, and Tangerines. Finally, my favorite apples are the Pink Lady, Golden Delicious, and Granny Smith.

As for a new fruit entirely, though, I would love to see plums.

Thank you for the question!
