Mm, let us see...

"Try as hard as you can. If you give up, then what was the point of trying in the first place?"
Certainly would not recommend doing a half-assed job, though I might add that giving up might be recommend if trying hard at something has made a mess of things.

"Love burns brighter than any flame."
Love certainly is a very strong emotion, heh.

"Time has limits, and you should be limitless."
I don't know: time has always been a confusing matter to me.

"See through the smoke and find the one you love."
Sounds like it suggests people forgetting themselves, and hurting the people they love. Reminds me of poet Edgar Allan Poe's line:
Years of love have been forgot / In the hatred of a moment.

"The light will lead you through the labyrinth, but only if you follow it."
True enough. Reminds me of the words of the Lion Turtle in Avatar: The Last Airbender:

The true mind can weather all lies and illusions without being lost. / The true heart can touch the poison of hatred without being harmed. / Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void, but always yields to purifying light.
Thank you for the questions, Sparro and RainbowCherry!

Got myself an awesome Deadpool comics today called Suicide Kings, thought it was really good and felt like recommending it to you. 15? (~$20) is expensive of course but heh. I enjoyed it a lot. And it was translated (rare). Translation was awful of course but at least it's a Deadpool comics with the appearance of Spider-Man (= cool) :)

Also found a copy of the first TMNT movie, hurray! Will watch it tonight n_n

And last but not least, got to see Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and LOVED IT (I think it should be mentioned, the translation in subs was amazing, so well written, reading subs is a pleasure only a few people know how to truly enjoy)! I think I liked it more than the first one, but I still love the first volume very much.

Just wanted to share n_n

And not to be completely off-topic: which TBT smiley do you prefer?
Mine has to be this one:

Thank you for that: now I have a specific Deadpool comic to buy.

Ooh, not sure I have seen that one. Making me want to see all the old TMNT movies.

Oh, my, liked it even more than the first movie? I was worried because I read that the 'title story' for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For was ironically the weakest of the stories in that movie, as it went on for too long / progressed at a sluggish pace, but if the movie as a whole is still good enough to rival the first that is good enough to me.

And not to be completely off-topic: which TBT smiley do you prefer?

It was not too long ago I was wishing this forum had a lot more smilies. Anyways, not from this forum, but the following one is my favorite:

Thank you for the reply, and the question!

Getting a new 3DS soon (Mine stopped working properly) so YAYAYYAYAYAYY I CAN FINALLY PLAY AGAIIIIN

To bump this topic, here is trivia found out from reading. After the third century crises that nearly destroyed the Roman Empire, a Tetrarchy, or 'college of four,' arose. Consisting of two 'senior' Emperors and two 'junior' Emperors who ruled nearly one-fourth each of the remnants of the Roman Empire, they restored stability for a short time, and were the precursor to the Byzantine Empire.

Congrats!

What's your favorite Pok?mon? I think I read that Pok?mon X was your first game from the franchise, do you think you'll play older games one day?

I like the original three starters: Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle. I also like Maractus, Golem, Gengar, Dragonite, and Moltres. I have never used Pok?mon competitively, though: I just play the main storyline.

That reminds me: I got many of these Pok?mon through trade, which means I cannot use them when I take the 'Nuzlocke Challenge' soon.

Yes, Pok?mon X was my introduction to the franchise. In fact, I have played an older game from the franchise since then: Pok?mon White Version 2. This older game was just as enjoyable, though I remember the final battle being so ridiculous because the last Pok?mon I had to defeat took out everyone on my team... except for Zoroark, who I now really like just because of that, ha. I will probably play another old one, though since Pok?mon Ruby is coming out soon, the older games of the franchise will have to wait much longer.

As always, Delphine, thank you kindly for the questions.

Heh, old school Pok?mon I see! The first generation was great. I'm glad you enjoyed White 2, most people say that Black/White and Black 2/White 2 were terrible, but those fools didn't realize that these games have the best scenario any Pok?mon game ever had before. And I can't wait for those Pok?mon Ruby/Sapphire remakes. I hope you will enjoy them! :)

New question now! Do you know/enjoy some French songs/singers?
Heh you kind of answered my question, I'll be sure to let you know about a few French songs that are cool ~

Heh, I am a bit embarrassed to not even remember what the plot was. I just remember the story being cheesy as heck and not caring at all.

I know I will. I am thinking of putting a lot of 'restrictions' on what I can do in that latest Pok?mon game the first time I play it. For example, not using traded Pok?mon, only capturing the first Pok?mon from each area, and releasing a Pok?mon each time it is defeated. Should make for an interesting experience.

I thought my answer would shamefully be no, but when looking through a list of French musicians I was surprised to recognize Yann Tiersen. But now that I think about it I should not be surprised, since he is responsible for the soundtrack of not only my favorite French movie, but my favorite movie in general. Here is one song from that soundtrack: 'Comptine d'Un Autre ?t?.' I believe you might have mentioned already seeing Am?lie, so sorry in advance if you have.

That said, though, very much need to know more French musicians.

Ooh, a new questioner. Hi, new questioner!

The 'Post New Thread" button should be on the top-left of the 'forumdisplay' page: http://www.belltreeforums.com/forumdisplay.php?28-The-Basement

If you do not see it, you should contact a moderator right away because there is some strange stuff going on in this forum. Here are the forum staff: http://www.belltreeforums.com/showgroups.php If you are not sure who to contact, I recommend Kaiaa since she is the one I happened to contact each time there was a problem, and she was always prompt and kind.

Thank you for the questions!

Well of course it wasn't a good scenario for itself, but good for a Pok?mon game, hehe. The character of N was interesting though!

I've been thinking about doing a Nuzlocke challenge as well one day, but I don't know, I get too attached to my little monsters and couldn't throw them away after they lost a battle, the poor things ;-;

I looooove Yann Tiersen <3 And I listen to Comptine d'un autre ?t? very often! I always picture myself leaves swinging in the air, as the melody goes on. Here are a few well known singers from my old country:

Stromae (technically Belgian but sings in French so this still counts): better writer than singer in my opinion, 98% of his songs are depressing (but soooo well written), but there is ONE song that is actually quite cheerful; it's a tribute to Cesaria Evora called Ave Cesaria. I really love it.

Charles Aznavour, good ol' fashioned singer, here is a link to listen to Formidable (= Wonderful), a song with lots of play on words French/English (thought it would be funny for you to listen to it).

Francis Cabrel, some might say he's outdated but they must have forgotten about Je l'aime ? mourir (= I love her to death), the lyrics make me cry.

I could go on and on about retro singers but I'll now talk about bands (my two favorite).

Louise Attaque, though they get kind of repetitive I love Je t'emm?ne au vent (huh... = I'm taking you to the wind or something like that).

Last but not least, Indochine (the lyrics are usually dumb and make no sense buuut the music is good quality), I'm linking you to my personnal favorite song called Little Dolls.

It's getting late so I'm going to stop here, I only put singers and bands that I like but if you're interested one day I'll let you know about other famous artists in French music n_n/
