Do you draw?8)
The most geometric landscapes and space ships you would ever see. That was as a child, though; I have not drawn anything recently. I believe what first inspired me to draw was concept artwork from those 'tall' books in the elementary school library. What more recently made me think about learning to draw was the introduction to the Barnes & Noble edition of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, which describes how the author made a detailed drawing of his setting before ever putting pen to paper.

So long as they are not applying for babysitter, I am not bothered by either. Also, seems the second guy just really enjoys having clean teeth, and has not overlooked the importance of brushing the tongue, as well.

Lmfao. I love this answer. I might just use this.

I'm actually afraid of the idea of zombies lol I can't remember much from World War Z except that wall. Like something about having a safe haven but it being compromised that way just chills me to the core. I wasn't particularly fond of the style of zombie in WWZ. I can't remember which movie it was, but I remember seeing one where the zombies could run... Ugh. It's like finding the nerves to kill a cockroach, but suddenly it flies at you.

I might just adapt the Trix box to include a mysterious water gun. Something in the fashion of Kill Bill. And then when water doesn't effect the zombie have you find a human shield. What am I talking about? We will all find out soon.

Next question: what would you consider is yer spirit animal? What advice would it give you?

Yeah, but compromised simply because they were being loud, and not even terribly much louder than would be expected for a festival.

The zombies can run in quite a few stories, WWZ included.

Your idea for the comic sounds very interesting.

As for spirit animal, never really thought about it. I will just go with rabbit since that is what the Chinese zodiac says. And kind of fitting, now that I think about it, since Pippy the peppy rabbit is my favorite villager.

Hey there friend! How have you been lately?
It's been a while and to be honest, I've missed talking with you ;_;

Hey, Delphine! Cannot wait for Christmas and the Holidays, and trying to get school stuff out of the way. I hope the atmosphere is calm and festive for you, too! And I was wondering if you were still around; glad to see you still here.

Why do you??

Why do you like Animal Crossing?

Aww but I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye first! That would be rude and sad! Old I don't intend to leave TBT x) I still post a little every week or so in the Caf?, I admit my activity has been kind of slow lately but I'm still here n_n

Glad to know you are doing well in a festive atmosphere :D I'm at Starbucks right now and they're already playing Christmas songs, it's nice :)

Question: will you get the new Pok?mon games? If so, which version? :)

Hey, Disband.

It is relaxing. I like how adorable the villagers are. It has the same 'feel' as those city building games I like, such as Zeus: Master of Olympus. Wish I could do even more to customize how the town looks, but pleased with what I can do.

... But now I am spending more of my time on the 3DS playing Fantasy Life, which does not have so much the city building feel, but certainly has the flexibility of choosing a profession (e.g., mercenary, alchemist, miner, etc), and doing missions at your own pace and order. I really like flexibility, and at least the illusion of not following the narrow path.

My activity has slowed down recently, too. I have not even cycled for a week or more, it seems.

Makes me want to listen to Christmas songs right now, too.

Definitely. Omega Ruby. I like the design of that Pokemon in the cover: black, red, and cream works well.

If I remember right, these latest Pokemon games are "updates" of an older one. If so, I will get to play a classic for the first time.

But I am so caught up in Fantasy Life that it may be awhile before I buy it, and before it stops sitting on my shelf.

Tell me more about your FL experience so far! What classes have you tried, which one do you prefer?
What do you like most about the game? :)

I expected to enjoy the game, but did not know I would like the story so much. I like the dialog especially, both because it is well written but also since the writers apparently poke some fun at the game (e.g., when you investigate a tree trunk being sawed in the workshop and a dialog box pops up saying that the trunk never seems to get cut through, or when one of two characters holding a conversation mentions hearing a rumor about somebody going around the kingdom chatting everyone up for no apparent reason, heh). Relatedly, I thought it was great how newly introduced characters seem poised to fit stereotypes, but end up breaking them, and proving more nuanced (I do not want to spoil the story for anyone who has not played yet, so I will not name names). The battle system has an easy learning curve. I like that each Life allows you to learn more about other characters in town, with no one Life feeling more valued by the developers than any other.

I knew right away I wanted to be a Wizard. I was considering Alchemist or Blacksmith next, but went with Alchemist. What I regret about choosing Alchemist is that you apparently need smithy abilities to craft certain items to become a Master Alchemist. Also, seems quite pricey to level up as an Alchemist, though fortunately I stacked up over 90,000 Dosh while playing as a Wizard (although a Master Wizard now, I have not completed the story). As for other Life choices, I am most interested in the most 'unusual' choices, such as Cook and Tailor, since you can be a Paladin/Mercenary/Soldier in practically every game. Have to say, though, that I have long been interested in Archery, so that is most likely the first 'soldier' class I will choose.

As for downsides, this is but a nitpick: I dislike the stores telling me my female character cannot wear certain clothes because they are only meant for males. Such a restriction seems silly to me.

To bump this topic, thought I might share a Christmas-related photograph.

I took my family to downtown Riverside as part of our Christmas vacation, and one of our stops was to an out-of-the-way bookstore. The bookstore had owl figurines, cards, plushies, paintings, etc. on shelves, desks, etc. But most notably (to me) and most relevant to this topic was the Christmas tree filled with owl ornaments on one of the desks, which I thought you guys might like to see:

Hey, Disband.

Oh, not at all. As mentioned above, I saw it at an out-of-the-way bookstore in downtown Riverside. If you are near the area, you can find the bookstore by walking down the farmer's market on the way to Mission Inn.
