Hello and welcome to another edition of Bell Tree Direct! Since the end of an event-packed 2024, we started the new year with a quiet January. Today we'll go over the events we have planned for the beginning of 2025, in addition to a few other announcements!
Groundhog Day Bells
In a Bell Tree Direct first, your free bell bag is our very first priority! Even more, there's a bonus bag of bells hidden somewhere else on the forum!

Buried underground, Resetti's brother Don is hiding with another surprise: a 200-bell cache for the first user who finds it and another 20-bell bag for everyone else in the community once they share the answer. Valentine's Event
Our first event of the year will take place from February 7th - 16th, Valentine's Day! This will be a smaller event with only a few tasks, but it's enough to make it The Bell Tree's biggest Valentine's Day event yet. The few Valentine's Day events we've hosted in the past have only been small mini-events.
Bring your cards, chocolates, flowers, and love this Friday for our very first multi-part Valentine's Day event!
TBT Neighborly Games Promotion
Our social gaming series, TBT Neighborly Games, has had its board moved to the forum's main page. Hopefully this change will make our gaming goings-on more visible so you won't miss a session or event. Now that it's been promoted, let's keep it as busy as we can!
Meanwhile, a new gaming event has been posted in the board today. The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Winter 2025 Tournament is now open for signups and will take place over the next month. Everyone is invited to participate! Collectible and bell prizes will be awarded to winners and all participants. TBT Neighborly Games sessions don't always get special announcements like this one, so be sure to keep an eye on the board or the "Current Forum Events" sidebar to see what's hosted next.
Flower Breeding Week
Hybrid flower breeding is coming back! During this week-long event, you'll be able to breed hybrid flower collectibles from your regular flower collectibles. Breeding flowers takes both luck and strategy, but sometimes it also takes a little bit of patience. There's always the chance to breed some super rare collectibles! The next Hybrid Flower Breeding Week is scheduled for March 29th - April 5th.
TBT's Thirteenth Annual Easter Egg Hunt
From flowers to eggs, Easter 2025 will bring TBT's Thirteenth Annuel Easter Egg Hunt. It will take place from April 18th - 22nd. As our thirteenth egg hunt, hopefully your luck won't run out.
The semi-regular Egg Decorating Contest is also a possibility this year, but we'll decide when the date gets closer.
The Bell Tree Is Now on Bluesky
The Bell Tree is now on Bluesky, the growing microblogging social media site. We'll primarily use it to share event updates. Let us know what else might be helpful to post to our social media accounts if you have any other ideas.
Scheduled Downtime
Finally, we'll be doing some maintenance starting the morning (EST) of Friday, March 14th. The forum will be down for part of the day for a software update. The update will add minor improvements to the site including a trending threads feature and better image resizing while uploading. We'll post updates on Discord and social media including Bluesky.
