Beware: Bug prevents balloons from spawning

Are you sure? I swear I've seen them going in both directions during the day.

They do go both directions, just at different times.

I haven’t achieved 300 yet (got over 150 popped as of writing this) but according to Nintendo wire, this works, they even updated the post on their website to reflect it

“Update: The newest work around is super simple! As tested by u/punkhag, do not collect the achievement! Hold off on those sweet, sweet Nook Miles as those mileage points aren’t worth this glitch”

I hit the milestone yesterday and this didn’t work for me but some people are saying it does work so I’m not sure on this trick I just make another resident for balloon hunting at this point
