I don't know anymore.

I wanted both at one stage.

It would be nice to visit other islands, and it would be great if the Roost was part of the Museum and K.K. played there.

I'd like to see the enormous waste of space outside RS be turned to grass that we could use for something else.
Visitors don't need all of that space, so move K.K. to the Roost if it comes back.

I kinda hate this question because I want both of them so bad!!

I absolutely love Brewster and his café... but I enjoy seeing other people's islands even more. If I had to pick only one, it would be the dream suite

As much as I love Brewster and I absolutely want him back, I think the dream suite has more actual function that I would use than he would. I love checking out people's towns and I used to visit many random towns just typing in random things to search for on New Leaf. It was a lot of fun and with the amount of customisation in New Horizons I would love to be able to visit some on the town's I've seen online and explore them at my own leisure.

That said, I think when Brewster comes back he will probably bring a few things with him, like gyroids. So I guess it depends on if it's just Brewster on his own as an update or some extra things with him.

Brewster could never come back and I honestly wouldn't notice or care. I think I went to the Roost like, max 3 times in NL.

I want Brewster back, I liked hanging out in the Roost whenever I play NL and I enjoy the minigame sometimes.

it's sad that NH doesnt have a dream suite/something similar especially since we now have so much more freedom to decorate our islands, so we have more reason to show our islands to others!

fingers crossed that i'll be added in the futureee

Brewster coming back would also bring back the coffee cups and possibly other drink/food combinations. I would decorate my town and rooms with coffee stuff that you would get from Brewster.

Plus you got to make coffee orders for all the villagers, npc, and sometimes got random villagers not in your town to show up. You had to figure out exactly what type of coffee blend, amount of milk, and sugar they wanted. And if you did well enough Brewster would reward you with different prizes.

This is the kind of content we need to make the game have more fun things to do. If you need inspiration just hop on over to Youtube. Until we get more content I can't really see the Dream Suite getting a lot of mileage. At first sure, but than people will get bored of seeing all the islands that kind of look similar.

Now when the Roost comes back and they don't allow us to purchase coffee stuff to decorate or the coffee mini-game Nintendo will really fail us with this game.

I'm new to the series, can anybody explain to me what the dream suite was?

The dream suite was a building you could unlock on the main street after catching Isabelle napping in the office. It had a service where you could upload a copy of your town and get 5,000 bells. You could also lay down on the bed and ask Luna (the NPC) to send you off on a dream of another person's town. It could be random or you could sort them by country or you could pick out a name or you could enter in a code for a specific dream town. This caused Dream Town Tours to be popular during the last few years of New Leaf because it was the first time you could easily customize your town and share it with others.

The (possible) downside to this is because it was a "dream", you could interact with the villagers in the town. You could catch bugs, fish, pick all the fruits, or cause general chaos. The player characters would be out walking around too. But, because it was only a copy, you couldn't bring anything back with you. On the flip side, you could share your town without worrying about anyone messing up your town.

That's really cool, I hope it comes back, thanks for answering!

Honestly, I'm not in a rush to get either. If all Brewster will do is serve us coffee once a day and make us collect some gyroids, I honestly don't really care about that. I'd be okay with a building, though, as I've reserved a spot for it for so long now that I'm not going to give it up now lol.
As for Luna, I can get inspiration from the thousands of videos people upload onto Youtube. It was different in New Leaf, though, when I didn't use Youtube as much as today, and I didn't use it for Animal Crossing. However, I agree they both should be in this game, as they've always been in every iteration (except for Luna).

Brewster is my fave special npc in the game, so i would love for him to return, i miss my special boy

Oh man, both are so amazing!! If I had to choose which one I'd like first, it would have to be Brewster. I always enjoyed going in his café and working there, and serving villagers who don't live in my town!! That would be great if they brought that back, and maybe do more with that, maybe sell some donuts to go with the coffees. I've got a space all ready for a cafe, so I'm personally hoping it will be its own building and not a section in the museum.

Dream Suite any day!

It feels like so much more content than visiting a coffee shop once a day. Also I'm sure I'm not the only person who wants to show off their creation online, but cannot do so due to not wanting to let people loose on their island or give tours.

I also really want to physically visit other peoples islands, but I just don't like the awkward interaction of having to ask others to do so.

I think Brewster over dream suite, because I feel like the dream suites functions could be wrapped into the core game and Dodo Airlines. For example you could simple set an offline version of your island that uploads to the server so friends / randoms can visit when you are offline. Just like how the dream suite works.

Meanwhile I think Brewster could be given more features (all speculative on my part :) );

  1. Tied to cooking and cooking receipes, you can make dishes for your islanders and guests, brewster gives you new recipes as rewards
  2. Downstairs event venue, KK and your islanders can be found in the evening singing, doing poetyry etc
  3. Gyroid room in the back, the Gyroids you collect could be stored in a back room
  4. Meet previous islanders and special characters
In addition I still think Luna and Wendell could make it back into the game, but my suggestion of the above means the dream suite feels less "needed" than compared with The Roost as a cafe / restaurant hang out spot

I would like Brewster back first, he is one of my favourite npcs, and I hope we get to work for him again. I'm undecided whether I'd prefer it to be in the museum or a standalone building like in new leaf.
Agree with OG poster about the RS taking up and wasting space, and I'd prefer KK to play in the Roost, I liked his little intimate gigs inside.
I never used the dreamsuite a lot in new leaf, but I think with this new game and the ability to place furniture outside and the terraforming, players have been even more creative and it would give players the opportunity to explore these amazing islands rather than just through pictures or videos. It would be a welcome add but I'd definately prefer Brewster first.
Although I do hope we are able to save multiple dreams of our islands, don't know if it would be possible but I'd like to revisit older versions of my island as I plan to change things as the seasons change.

Honestly I think we all low-key want both back ideally. But rn I think I’d prefer the dream suite. I love looking at other peoples designs etc but I always feel awkward at other peoples islands especially if I don’t know them personally. It’s kinda like if a police officer is behind you and you know you’re not doing anything wrong but you feel like you are? (Am I losing the plot?🤣).. I think Brewster would be an awesome addition come fall.. hot beverage when it’s cold out🥺 why doesn’t Nintendo just sign me up already

Missing Brewster to have something extra to see and do (working part-time, walking around with a coffee in-hand, and chatting with other villagers/special NPCs as they enjoy their coffee). Brewster’s was also one of my favourite buildings to decorate around and I‘d love to have that in NH.

We can mimic the look with library, beach, and riverside cafes but it’s not the same.

Given I spend a lot of time online checking out other islands and patterns, I’d choose the Dream Suite if we only got one. Having the option to sometimes take home designs you liked was convenient.
