Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
I slowly wake up, I'm greeted by the pain and Len, w w wh what happened I say? I look across. I notice something different in the haze before I wake up entirely, where is my arm?!
When we get to the flat, I make a shhhh sound to Dylan, then lay a blanket over her so that Kyle doesn't have to see. I then wheel her into a separate room then the room Kyle is in, and rummage about in some cabinets. After a short while, I come out with painkillers, disinfectant, and bandages.
I see Kyle come in, and rapidly sign to him. "She's hurt badly. If you're squeamish, you should probably leave. One of her arms has been torn off. My mother was a healer, so I know mostly what to do."
I nod. "Okay, do your thing." I take a seat over in a chair. "I'll be right here watching." I get lost in thought. I hope Dylan's okay. Where are my parents and friends? Len being so good in this situation...
I shudder slightly, then lift up the blanket so I can bandage her stump of an arm. She'll never use this side again..
I bandage it tightly, then give Dylan some painkillers so she doesn't feel too much pain. I disinfect all of her cuts and put band-aids on them.
When I'm almost done, a sudden wave of exhaustion overcomes me, and I almost fall over. Steadying myself again, I draw the blanket back over her.
