It makes the game more diverse if each country gets their own DLC. Now, the DLC won't be worth anything to anyone unless they have a Japanese Wii or are in Japan with one.

Why can't people just be happy that everyone is able to get DLC instead of saying only 1 country is allowed this piece of DLC.

This release was announced on the North American region version of Nintendo's website as the upcoming DLC... and was released on May 5th which is National Teacher's Day in America. That is why he is saying this should have been North American only, because North America is the region it was announced for. There was no notice on the EU region website concerning the bus model until it was released. We didn't get the flamenco dress and hat here, because that was supposed to be a EU region only DLC. And neither of us received the carp pole because that was a Japan region exclusive.

I, too, was disappointed to see this release in Europe. Not that I didn't want you guys to be able to get the bus model; that's what The Bell Tree is here for. Rather, I want the DLC to be more region exclusive so that there is more diversity. For example, I think it would have been great if the shamrock hat had been EU only.

Even though I'm from Europe I agree with this.
That way it means more when you have it and when you have to actually find someone with it, so it's kinda rare
