I didn't get a bus model... i got a red pikman hat, but not a bus....

Yeah, if you've been away from Animal Crossing for a bit it will start to fill in some of the DLC you've missed. You should still get the bus model if you keep your Wiiconnect24 turned on and continue to play during the delivery period (May5th through 15th).

Really?? I have my WiiConnect24 turned off and I get none of the DLC... I have to pick it up from people on TBT. I could turn it on, but my internet here is glitchy at times and every time it loses connection and regains it, it nags me to update my system software. But we both know why I won't do that lol.

Also, to my knowledge, there isn't a reason for Europe to be getting this. There's nothing to do with celebrating schools or teachers around this time of year over there as far as I know. In fact, on the Nintendo EU website, there is no mention of teacher's day at all. They say:
"The Animal Crossing bus is your ticket to the big city, where you can do all sorts of cool things. Now, for ten days in May, (from May 5-15), you can acquire a special model replica of your favourite mode of transport in Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City for Wii."
