When the oven timer dinged to let her know the cupcakes were done, Sakura removed them, and set the trays on a workbench across the room to allow them to cool.
Amelia jumps as she hears her name being called.
"W-was I asleep?" She asks. Seeing Melody nod, Amy grabs her cocoa and heads inside, taking a seat at one of the tables. A costumer comes in, and Amelia begins to socialize.
As Sakura stewed the chopped Apple in a pan with cinnamon and a moderate amount of sugar to make the filling for pies, she tried to decide what to decorate the cupcakes with. Maybe just chocolate frosting? Or I could use marshmallow fluff, that's good for cupcakes...
She decided eventually on marshmallow fluff. Sakura left the Apple on a low heat to stew and quickly made some marshmallow fluff, which she then frosted the tops of the chocolate cupcakes with. As soon as they were all done, she loaded them all onto one tray and put them onto one of the display shelves in the front room.
I walk into the cafe to smell apples and cinnamon. "Mmm!" I say, walking over to the oven. "I love the smell of apple pie!" I saw the cupcakes in the display and smiled at Sakura. "You're an awesome baker!"
Reem leaves a letter at the counter with "Amelia" written on it in cursive
inside it is money and a note that says:
"Dear Amelia,
I am very sorry on behalf of my brother, in this letter you will find all the money I've been saving, I know its not a lot but I hope its enough to pay for your viola repair. I'm sorry I wasn't able to give you this letter in person, things have been difficult lately but I am trying my best to fix things.
My dearest apologies,
Reem♥"
Sakura filled the pies with the apple, finished the tops with a latticed pastry, and put them in the oven. Afterwards, she wandered into the front room to sit down while they cooked. She spotted a letter on the counter. Hmm, what's that?
