The amount of blues is definitely odd but imo they're all confirm-able (you have that spicy mafia role info, Fire had the message from Rune unless you think that the communicator role is mafia, Evan and Ness confirm each other like you said, Ness also confirmed me, Ghost's role confirms me, I guess nobody reeeally confirms Ghost but like since when is nurse a mafia safeclaim)

yeah, if nobody claims a town role with a killing ability this is my theory for what happened.

i don't think karen would suicide, and if she did it wouldn't have said "killed" since leaving the game isn't mechanically being killed. it would be like "karen has modkilled herself" or something, but tina specifically said that nobody's allowed to forfeit so ya.

The problem is if two or more of you guys are faking blue to hide mafia, then you guys obviously worked with each other to create the plan. No matter what at this point, our safest bet is to lynch someone from the Trundle wagon or VT pool, but still. There's way too many people claiming some sort of important blue role.

Also, mafia doctors exist. That's a role I remember from IRC mafia.

To clarify why I voted Punchy after voting glow: I do actually see the 'typo' as a scumslip. This is Punchy's first game as mafia and it comes off as him being nervous when I look back at day 1, which I thought could either be him as a blue or him as mafia, and initially I was on the blue side. Now? This role he is claiming is insane, the defenses seem defeated, and if he's a jester I'll be pissed but also in awe. Also because everyone seems to be self-voting and yet again nobody is going to listen to me about glow nevertheless follow me on lynching her.

ffs Heyden, yes thanks? A no lynch = \ = mislynch. Even if it leads to losing Kammm. I'd still like to lynch one of the three I mentioned but my reads on Karen and Trundle make me feel confident we'll be down to one more mislynch if one of them gets lynched.

This is honestly my biggest concern. Mafia could easily claim blue at this point to avoid getting sus'd in the pool of VTs. Literally all they need is one mislynch so why wouldn't they lie out of their bums to blend in for literally just two more days ? Especially when everyone was like GET READY FOR CLAIM DAY TOMORROW GUYS !!!!

I've been worried about that but it looks like the Blue roles being claimed are, to some extent at least, confirmable or at least dependant upon at least one other person maintaining the fake-claims together. Idk that Mafia would bother risking that at this stage, given we were at LYLO before the actual claims came out. And in the lead-up to Trundle's lynch, in hindsight, Idk why they'd have taken such a massive risk like that, things were so chaotic? Those NKs were too strategic for me to think they'd take such an unnecessary risk.

I don't know how to take KermitTea/Karen's play. On the one hand, why would scum!Karen provide so much info at all coz she had kinda dropped off the radar for a lot of people (or been put into the "too hard" basket which equates to the same thing really). Seems to me like the best strategy for her as scum would have been to keep laying low and contributing small bit of inscrutable stuff as she'd been doing previously. On the other hand, WIFOM is the flavour of the game..

Realistically though, it doesn't make a lot (any) sense to me that she'd bother focussing so much extra attention on herself at this point in this game with these stakes as scum!Karen. I can see some reasoning behind her recent content as Blue!Karen given that the only risk to her at this point is being lynched (since Mafia will surely withhold NKs for reasons stated repeatedly... even WIFOMing that would result in more risk to Mafia than benefit of eliminating Blue could possibly give them at this stage).

The biggest sticking point for me is probably the concern that her content is motivated by scum!Karen just trying to confuse us. I don't know how rational that is but it's not like Mafia have to worry about keeping their whole team alive for KP anymore and that would normally be a primary consideration at this point for them.

Her play today seems more plausible to me to be Blue!Karen than scum!Karen but I'm not comfortable reading her as such as things stand.

Ya, that's "wishy-washy" af and I'm aware of the irony of wanting more content from her so I could get a better read and then... ending up leaving her as a Wildcard null *because* I got more content from her but cannot read her any better because - not despite - it.

But no way am I moving off wanting Trundle lynched in favour of Karen almost regardless of her alignment at this point. Her content, unless she scum-slips in spectacular fashion and outs other scum, is not going to give us much of anything to work with for tomorrow's lynch as she's contributed so little throughout the game we're not gonna be able to find the other scum from her.

(For what it's worth, as much as I ****ing hate having to strategise lynching the way this game requires tbh it's also kinda ~freeing~ to have the certainty of knowing we will lose if we get to a 2nd ML. Having that condition is genuinely helpful to NewTown imo as it's hard data to work with and focus upon, rather than the usual 'I think we're at MYLO' 'no because x and y, unless z' content that may make complete sense to experienced players but is usually confusing af for NewTown and makes them much less able to contribute helpfully than this situation will allow them to.)

I shared a few a couple of pages ago in regards to her activity during D3 but as for what she is doing right now? Could be acting like she's baiting in order to continue not saying much or distract doctor from saving more important kills.

I would give her the benefit of being a vanilla townie trying to bait mafia and she wasn't lying when she was throwing down the silly sacrificial lamb vote during D3 but there needs to be more towntelling than acting sacrificial and I have seen none of it so far.

Or she's a stupid blue. We've already had a couple this game.

Also I don't like how Kermit's only activity lately revolves around her offering herself as a sacrifice vote in the whole bomb paranoia discussion. I need more of a stance than that. Not that I expect much from her, but like Tom, she has the potential to take advantage of her meta of being known for being non-contributive as of late in order to coast.
