Please text. 😭 My older sister (who I love 💜) likes to call instead of text, and I don't get it at all.

calling, I don't get a lot of texts outside of discord chats and calling is much more direct

I don't like to talk on the phone, even if it's with someone I know really well. idk what it is about phone calls but they just make me feel really uncomfortable. so I definitely would prefer to text/message someone 😄

Calls give me horrible anxiety and sometimes I can't even understand what people are saying (even in person I've misheard things).
I definitely prefer talking through text.

I am a natural introvert so texting is usually what I prefer. Texting is super easy. All I have to do is send what I want to send. With calling, I have to prepare myself mentally, especially when I have to call people I don't know.

Both and neither.

Generally, aside from when I travel, I feel no need for a cell phone. When I do get a cheap flip phone for this purpose, I find typing on the phone to be a slow annoyance and that it would be faster for me to just call someone and say whatever I'm typing. Maybe it's better on a fancier, more expensive smart phone, but I don't know. I might finally take the dive and get a proper smart phone eventually though because it'd be a nice backup device for connecting to the Internet and so I can get Meltan and Melmetal from Pokémon Go and also be able to use the GTS function of Pokémon Home. Why did they have to divide the functionality between the Switch and people's cell phones? I hate it.

On the flipside, I don't really like talking verbally. No matter how coherent I am in my head, I somehow, someway find a way to sound like a moron when I'm talking to people. I find it far more preferable to convey my thoughts through the written word, it comes more naturally to me and I feel more verbose in my language.

Basically, don't talk to me unless I have access to either a keyboard or some paper and a pen or pencil, please.

I prefer texting when it’s nothing pressing, but I’ll call if it’s something that needs an immediate answer!

both are fine but if it's someone I've never spoken to then I'd prefer texting eheh. phone calls have a way of making me nervous

I generally prefer to text, although some stories can really only be properly told over the phone, and sometimes it's comforting to hear the other person's voice after a while. That's assuming they're already family or close friends though, I've never been on voice chat with anybody online and the thought of it does make me kinda nervous. 😅

I used to dislike phone calls, but now prefer them when talking with family and friends. Calls are typically planned because they take anywhere from 20-60 minutes of uninterrupted time, whereas texting is for the more casual, unplanned day-to-day updates and check-ins.

It depends on who I am talking to and what the conversation is about. Sometimes I just like to call and get it over with vs a drawn out text conversation but text is nice for when I'm out of the house (I don't like being on the phone in public usually)

I prefer texting, but calls are great for family and close friends

I love calling but most people now don't like calling so I either do voice to text or voice messages! I type fast I just. I dunno. I like speaking lol. Less work on my fingiez

I prefer texting, I dont talk on the phpne super often anymore, I used to alot. But me and my friends still prefer texting and honestly I do too

The only time people call me is for work, or to ask if I want my air ducts cleaned lol
