Can we make it so when an item is in your cart, it can't be removed again...?
I've had so many collectibles taken right out my cart as I'm pressing to checkout, and it drives me insane ;-;

I don't care all that much for collectibles but this sounds reasonable.

It would be useful but I could see someone literally adding as many collectibles as possible to their basket to resell them...

This, and people could just sit with their basket filled with collectibles and not actually buy them, just to stop others buying them. (Not saying anyone would do this, but hypothetically they could)

Reasonable request though.

but it doesnt work like this in real life you just have to get used to it.
its like saying if one person added 200 FE special editions to their basket they could keep all 200.

This wouldn't be a good idea, because someone could take and shove everything in their cart and hold it ransom, and not release it until some pays them or something like that. Not to mention people who couldn't afford things would still get to keep them in a way, and be able to have them there until they can pay for them.

There are better ways out there to limit and fix this type of problem.

so collectibles being held as hostage? lmao.
I wouldn't be surprised if that were to happen.

Yup! I can see a lot of people on here holding them hostage (not naming names).

I think the best solution is setting them all to 'unique' at restocks so hoarders have to buy their duplicates from others. Or at least limiting them somehow.

This should happen, but there should be a timer. Like you can only keep the items in your cart for 5 minutes. Also, you can't add something to your cart if you don't have enough bells, so people can't just hold items until they have enough bells.

I think if you went shopping and put some milk in your cart, and then some stranger just took it out, I don't think you'd be like "oh, that's cool".

I'm still making a comparison about real life shopping here m99 ".-."

Anyway, I don't think that many people are going to put 200 FE whatevers in their cart, and just leave them there. I've never heard of a problem like that

Anyway, sean's point was good, so whatever lmao

I saw this suggested in another thread somewhere...It wasn't an official suggestion thread, though.

I think a timer would be okay, and if after that set time you didn't purchase the items, they go back into the shop for someone else to buy.
Obviously the amount of time you can have the items in your cart is up to the staff though...

fyi you already can't add items to cart if you don't have enough bells

I don't know about this. It sounds like a good idea, but I feel like there'd be more people coming out empty handed. We're all refreshing, and once shop opens more people will come to see the collectibles sold out before they even get a chance. I think it would favor people who have faster internet and better luck even more than now.

It doesn't matter whether someone doesn't get a collectible because the shop already says it's sold out or whether it's removed from the cart because the item has been overbought. The only ways to fix the problem would be to alleviate the supply problem by limiting one of each collectible per person and/or selling a greater number of them, but the staff isn't inclined to fix this problem enough though it obviously exists.

How about instead there is a limit on purchases. 2 per person. 1 to keep 1 to sell.

Hmm I think you shouldn't be allowed to buy a whole load of the same collectible. It seems kinda unfair.
This will most likely not happen though rip
