Can we still design clothing in NH?

I really like designing clothing in NL, I think pro designs were a really great added feature to the game. Looking at the little we know about NH one thing I'm really excited about is how good the clothing looks, but I now wonder if we will lose the feature of being able to design clothing. I don't know if we will be able to or not, I don't have much evidence to suggest why not, other than the fact that the clothing looks sooo nice I don't think they'd program customs designs on the new clothing.

I think with the benefit of high-resolution visuals, custom made patterns would look really tacky.

I definitley think some kind of cutomazation will be a part of it. I mean it's been in wild world, city folk, and New leaf so why not? I'm not sure how it would work because I haven't actually tried to draw on my switch, but I think a sylus is out for it. Trying to do small details on a dress with just the stick and d pad seems like it would be frustrating.

(*ˊ˘ˋ*)｡♪︎:*?They know how creative people are, if anything I'm expecting them to update the designing menu so we can also add patterns to actual clothing existing already as well as design:

■Socks
■Shoes
■Skirts/shorts/trousers/leggings

(⌯︎?̴̶̷̀ω?̴̶̷́)✧︎ Imagine if we could add patterns to our hairstyles!!! Or even use them as skins, eye colours etc...

I agree, I'm sure they'll include them in some capacity. Maybe the design tool will have a higher pixel count this time.

I really hope they figured out a sensible and fun approach to designing clothing. Now that the game is primarily played using controllers, and the touch screen doesn’t really use styluses, it’s going to feel a bit awkward trying to design clothing. But just like writing/receiving letters from villagers, it’s something so integral to Animal Crossing for me that I wouldn’t ever want them to get rid of it.

I hope so, it's a big part of animal crossing so I'm sure they will keep it lol, I hope they do qr codes again because I suck at detailed designs lol

I would be really surprised if they removed it since designs have been available since the US release of AC:GCN. If they got rid of it then they would likely replsce it with something better.

If NH does include this feature, I hope they expand on it so we can design our own trousers, shorts, skirts and tights/leggings.

We'll have to wait and see I guess.

Wasn't there a little cloth app in the nook phone? Not sure about it. I think the feature will be in the game sooo I don't worry to much about it.We can't now yet I will just wait for the game or some news All the speculations about certain features can't be really answered right now

Yes there was. I can’t think of anything else that would be other than patterns.

Either they do or they offer so many more options that are added through updates/events. I personally never designed any clothing, I just loved collecting all of the pieces. Seeing what?s coming I think we?ll have many more customizable options than we have before. I don?t see why it wouldn?t be part of NH, maybe part of the Nook Miles objectives.
