Not really. Especially with maf # hidden and items like raven had. There's always a chance they could have shot town.

But with what we can see/conclude from posts, maf is either 2 or a powerful one, I would think.

I am now trying really, really hard to not see dolby's (full of untrue things) reads on me as nefarious...but it is soooo difficult. But so far I'm managing it.

Especially as it's led to tossing me into a field and painting a target on my back. It's all his fault if I croak.

I'm still nearly 100% lost on what the item was given that basically nothing happened and dolby had no info to give though

my thing rn is just, I can't tell if you're asking us to give you the item solely because you trust yourself to be a good player in f3, and want the item for the *chance* it'll help you live, in the *unlikely chance* (until you have the item I guess) the mafia targets you. Or if there's something more to it (which I would hope).
Especially with your generally poor reads rn (not quality, mean ppl maf-leaning you), the mafia has all the more reason to keep you alive in the case you're safe from the vote

First of all, I do feel the need to apologize specficially for the claim that you weren't sussing Tessa. I had made the choice to ignore your posting before you received your role (motive: lazyness and irl time pressure) and placed that in the wrong spot (post #99 for those wondering). That was a misrepresentation and shouldn't have been included.

Addressing the rest of the stuff, yeah I think that you were hedging and I feel that you were more strongly committed to your takes when you didn't have your role yet. Whereas, later on I feel that you were keeping options open.

I want to highlight the bolded section here and ask @FrostyAlmonds why she felt the way she did on the difference between my reads on Tessa and Dan for their reads on Betsy. Heck I think I outlined it quite well before this post as to why, and was thinking that mafia would attempt to use that point to invalidate my reads and push me because on the surface level it does look similar but if you go deeper I felt that there was a difference in that Tessa was manifesting a visible town process, and Dan was not at that time.

Simply put, at this point I was strongly suspecting you as mafia and Dan was your chosen target,

I interpreted it as Tessa writing a story where Dan was just sharing his notes from class. But reflecting, this is mafia and I should look for intent in everything. So yeah, that was a bad take on my part, There was a lot of leverage in what you said and I was beiing to weary of you.

And honestly, this is the reason why I feel I can take your word about the item and trust you now. Going from that hard case against Dan to saying he is (probably) town makes me genuinely believe you about the item, clearly something came of it. So I guess that hard suspicion helped me out with my feelings on you, at least.

I had a note that I should Betsy's posts starting on page 6 were the ones that happened after she had her role (i have it set to 20 posts per page, and in post 101 she says she probably wouldn't vote Tessa so I think that why I came to that specific false perception is pretty evident

no I don't but I think he's first time town and I appreciate that he has strong takes, and a visible process.

That said, yeah one of the two things that has been keeping him relatively low in my reads is him wanting the item (hypocritical I know) and the role fishing Tessa pointed out
