I was evolving pokemon when i noticed this
Butterfree is in the corner...infact ive noticed this with other evolving pokemon...perhaps its like this for all pokemon?

That could come in useful when trying to evolve a Sylveon. It's quite easy to evolve into an Espeon/Umbreon accidentally.

It only appears for a split second tho i believe its the model of the pokemon being moved so when it gets called for the evolving cutscene itll appear and exchange its place with the previous evolutions model

Interesting. You don't normally see this kind of thing in Nintendo games since they're always so well polished.

Then again im not an expert on how video games work but i think my explanation is on the lines of whats hapening.
But yea i thought that too

Not that easy, you actively have to use the Pok?mon Refresh thing and have at least two hearts, and also make sure Eevee knows a Fairy-type move to get Sylveon... But yeah def. useful for other stuff, never noticed either :0
