Sorry if you're that disappointed, I understand and I'm deeply sorry.
But you know, auctions are really stressful. It's been 10 days I'm looking desperately for Ankha and even with my bells (and I'm kinda rich) it's really hard to get her. I have to look at all the forum everytime ! And that's the most stressful thing, being in front of his computer looking for a... fictional character, lonl.
Either I take Ankha here, either I take Ankha in the other forum that I have seen recently.
I want to have the best chance to get her quickly.

I wanted Meringue as well, but the person who was selling her to me accidentally TTed her out. ;w; I kinda gave up searching for her after.

You have a very very good chance of getting Ankha for the amount bidded since it looks like Nachu isn't going to match it (sorry if I'm making assumptions hun). Yes auctions are stressy but more so for the person who starts the auction so maybe you can negotiate the final price for Ankha with her?

Agreed that it's crappy to take back a bid when you're the high bid. That's not how auctions work. There would be significantly less buyer's remorse in the world if the winning bidder could just take back their bid whenever they wanted to. I realize it's a "fictional character in a game," but as others have pointed out, the auction format does not work if people do this. You should own up to your word imho
 
o.0 this is so high. How is this even possible? I'm so glad I got my Ankha the good old fashioned way, resetting till Ankha appeared in a plot.
