I used to put tons and tons of sugar and creamer or milk in my coffee. But the past several years I switched to black, unsweetened coffee to cut back on calories. At first I didn't like it much, but now I prefer it. So if you drink coffee how do you typically drink it? :)

i used to be the same, i always put tons of sugar and cream into my coffees but after doing it for so long i feel like my stomach started to hate me so everytime i’d drink sugary coffee my stomach would hurt so so bad 😭 this started in like april of this year, so it’s pretty recent. so now i only like to put a little bit of flavoring into it and just a tiny bit of sugar and honestly it tastes just right. also i only drink iced coffee because hot coffee also makes my stomach hurt for some reason?? haha

I usually prefer my coffee iced with a little sugar and vanilla. Granted, if there’s too much of either I won’t drink it. The drink still has to have at least a little bitterness.

Depends on what kind of coffee I'm drinking.

In local culture, our coffee (called kopi) is brewed with robusta coffee beans. It's thicker, stronger and more bitter. I usually drink kopi with sugar and condensed milk. If I'm drinking coffee in a cafe that uses arabica beans, I opt for expresso or coffee without sugar or milk. I like iced coffee and ice blended coffee as well. Basically, coffee in any form is fine with me. I greatly appreciate the expresso in a good affogato. If a Japanese restaurant offers coffee jelly as a dessert, I always order it. At home, I liked to drink coffee with a dash of Bailey's.

Age and decades of drinking coffee like my life depended on it have consequences though. Heartburn is a thing for me now, so I only drink coffee once or twice a week. 🥺

I drink it with creamer and some milk poured over ice if I make it at home; if it's from like Dunkin or something, I'll get a flavor swirl with skim milk and sugar over ice.

Never gotten into coffee, but definitely a fan of tea, probably as I was given it in my bottle when I was still a baby (fairly normal thing for British parents' to do tbh). If it's black/regular tea then I do have milk in it but never any sugar. Again, I think everyone who was raised on tea tends to prefer how it was given to them when they were a kid, and that was how I had mine - milk, no sugar.

I used to drink coffee with milk and lots of sugar. Now I just drink it with a little milk. I try from time to time drinking it dark but its too bitter for me.

i am still but a child so i will always opt to have at least some kind of flavouring in there (think the kind of syrups you get at costa/starbucks) with milk (preferably oat), bonus points if it's iced! i worked as a barista a little over the summer so found myself drinking more coffee, and as a result the taste of coffee has definitely grown on me but i'd still much prefer to drink it in an almost sickly sweet drink than on its own

If I get proper coffee (from a coffee shop), usually I don’t need any sugar. When I make coffee at home I like to add either 1 sugar or some syrup depending on how I’m feeling that day!

I like strong coffee with just a little milk. If I’m out I would treat myself to a cappuccino. I bought a nespresso machine but rarely use it. Must remember to actually get some pods 😊

Basically an espresso with nothing in it, so black. I don't enjoy the taste of coffee, so I just have it for caffeine before work.

Yes that's true, I have GERD/acid reflux disorder I was diagnosed with last year (I'm 27 and have drank coffee my whole life, a lot). It sucks because caffeine/coffee is a massive acid reflux trigger, but I love coffee so much. So I'm sadly trying to cut back
